Soloing content, not anymore?

I used to solo dolmens/bosses on VR maps, but in the PTS is near imposible for me. I just tried HA/1h+Shield or LA, but... nah, they kill me in a seconds.

Is there any special reason behind this? If it worked well, why change it? I like
to do most stuff solo, especially while I'm leveling a character. Not sure how I feel about it...

    Go grind CP and try later, you get nerfed hard in 1.6 and have to invest in CP to get back to how strong you were in 1.5

    yes maybe you can grind stupidly some CP...or ever thought about that look for guild, or someone that fight with you. I know that is uncommon nowadays in a MMO

    Dolmen and Bosses were never intended do be done Solo...

    But anyone can do it, Idc if they are not intended, just worked for a full year, why change it now?...

    I don't want to stay in a boss/dolmen spot waiting for other players... this game is not wow, don't have so many people.

    Pretty discouraged and frustrated :(

    I doubt that it was possible for a full year, as the game is not a year old now. After the major nerf of veteran Areas, it become possible to do that solo. In my opinion it is good if that has changed again.

    It's still possible to solo any world boss. Haven't tried dolmens yet.

    I think the biggest problem here is the grouping function doesn't work and even when it did it didn't do a great job. How hard is it to fix this.

    Don't even get me started with craglorn mobs got a lot more pdef and they are grouped up.

    Some bosses 2 shot you 6k+ dmg on a hit. You can solo them all?

    Your about to get a flow of thousands of new players when it goes b2p.

    I am sure that ZOS did crank up the difficulty on zones, especially since they did mention a long time ago that they were going to slowly crank the difficulty back up after they nerfed it. I haven't tried any of these yet and plan to at some point.

    For Templar and DK I use quick siphon with the class armor buff (channeled focus, hardened armor), and then the dps rotation I'm testing. I can drop the AD V9-V10 world bosses in 15-20 seconds, so I usually don't need to recast either spell. For Sorc you can pretty much damage shield you and your pets forever. If you somehow run out of magicka heavy attack will return enough magicka to keep shield up and still regenerate magicka reserves. NB I have no idea as I don't play the class, but I'm almost sure it's possible, as NB was arguably the best solo class in 1.5.

    So basically, siphon and damage shields.

    Which boss are you having trouble with?

    What level are you? Class, Skills?

    I'm finding it one of two ways, used Cyrodiil delves/dolmens as a testbed (I remember them providing some friction on live), and with the VR14 Sorc, I actually found things dropping far too easily.

    Spellscar is doable with some mild differences.

    Group Dungons / Resources, however, seem to be the opposite.

    Short version: It's all over the board right now. I'm still looking for Vet Group Dungeon videos / Trials / DSA successes or fails. I know the first attempts were downright ugly, while the rest of the world PvE stuff felt like it required minimal effort.

    Anyone else getting this overall result?

    PvP, single target, anyway, hits like a truck now - much more survivable, and that's in full LA.

    On PTS Dolmens, Templar is no problem for me,

    I soloed one as a NB using a stamina based sneak build (no sap involved), as I find resource management using Stamina Ambush, Surprise Attack and Killers blade, saving my magicka for Dark Cloak and Mark Target works very well. I used Soul Harvest as the Ultimate.

    Haven't really played around much with DK or Sorcerer, but DK really relies on those Banners so it might be harder now, somehow I doubt there will be a problem though. Sorcerer I always played as stamina with Critical Rush, but since the "once per seconds" nerf to Critical Rush this may be much harder now.

    Solo'd VR10 Dolmen and WB on my Templar as well. Didn't seem any different. For the Dolmen I am 7 LA AoE and DPS. For the WB, Daedroth WB in Reapers Marsh, I went with my tanking set up. Didn't seem any more difficult.

    As for Vet dungeons, I ran Elden Hollow the other night as a Templar Tank. Didn't get to finish because I had a very small window of time, but overall it didn't seem any more difficult that before. Resource management is key as usual and the only really challenging fight was the Spriggan lady and her beams of death. Finished all the bosses except last one. Only wipe was on the Spriggan.

    Group was Templar healer (VR9), Templar Tank (me, VR13), NB and DK DPS both VR14. Dungeon was at VR12.

    1.6 changes alot of things sure, but people just need to calm down, breath, and figure out what they need to change and what CP they need to invest in to be effective. If you were effective on live as a certain role, than you will be effective in 1.6 as well.
