How many CPs should we get on test?

So with a VR14 end game template option how many champion points do you think we should get? I am of the opinion that we should get enough to at least get 20 of the passives unlocked. I don't know how they are going to test the effect of things at the high end if they aren't opening them up for people to use.

    I think Vet 14s are getting 24/23/23... with the extra point in Warrior. But, I don't know if that applies to the template.

    They should let us test a while like this and then eventually let us unlock ALL of the passives so none go on live untested by players.

    I started with 65 CP, and I think it's because I don't have any other vet characters.

    While individual passives have to be tested of course, it goes beyond that.

    We have to test what the balance will be like when people have 600+ champ points.
    - Are there certain combinations that are OP?
    - How does a 600 CP char compare to a 10 CP char, will new players feel completely shafted?

    All that might seem trivial now but in a years time it won't, so better test it early

    We do only beta testing.
    This means we are only supposed to find some few bugs and give feedback.

    Things like balance testing are done in an alpha by the designers, developers and some professional testers.

    What the hell are you talking about?

    I just want to give a test at game balance. The devs already indicated that they accept feedback on this. 50 or 100 in-house testers will never push the theorycrafting as far as a gaming community of 10s of thousands, so it's inevitable that some things might have been missed. As it's already been proven before.

    Not sure what your issue is here with me wanting to test end-game balance? How about if you don't want to test certain things, don't, and leave me to do my testing and give my feedback ok?

    If they want us to test stuff they have to give us 3600 points...I dont even see a reason why they wouldnt since nothing we do here comes over to live...

    I know they're testing certain things in stages (like testing unmorphed abilities now for templates and morphed abilities later), and I think that's great and super important, but we aaaabsolutely need to see what some of these CP passives do first hand,

    Specifically, we need to make sure that Last Stand from The Ritual and Equilibrium cannot be abused. Or, if it can be abused, it would be good to know that this is intended behavior.

    There was a bug if you created a template character first, then logged into your existing VR characters you'd get credited the 70CP twice (confirmed by ZOS in some post, though don't feel like going back through dev tracker to find).
