Lol, No. I'm just telling you how it is. It's the same length as a pregnancy! I might just go knock up the wifey and use her as a timer for where my CP progression should be. By the time junior comes out, I should have at least 1 120 point bonus. You want me to suizide, right?
And I created a topic about that and people are clicking LoLs cause they cannot understand how bad is the situation on PTS. They think that I only whine. I am pretty sure that we will find a way to grind the points faster but we have to do it as soon as possible before ZoS fix it.omfgitsbatman wrote: »

Enlightenment is 4 times the EXP gain as you would normally get, So let's put it at 3.5 hours per champion point considering you will get some enlightenment when you sleep. In order to get to 120 points in even one of the constellations, you will need to have a minimum of 358 champion points. Subtract the 70 that you already have and you will need to earn a minimum of 288 champion points. To earn 288 Champion points at an average of 1 per 3.5 hours, you will need to play for 1008 hours. Mind you, this is 1008 hours of doing nothing but gaining exp toward champion points. No banking, crafting, or any such nonsense.
1008 hours at 4 hours a day is 252 days. Without skipping a day, that is 36 weeks or about 9 months.
So, to recap all of that. If you play for 4 hours a day Every Day and do nothing but grind experience, it will take 9 months for you to get even 1 120 point bonus.
I would accept this if they didn't nerf the resources and their management. But they nerfed them and in order to be as powerful as you are in 1.5 you need these CPs. I need them but I cannot have them soon...omfgitsbatman wrote: »You haven't even grasped the worst part though... Each champion point is supposed to take 1 hour with enlightenment to earn. And what is bad about that? You want to have finished in one week right? maxed everything. I am fine with it when it takes a long time to get everything done.

For me the bad is:
- That there is no content that I can do to get these points in the normal run of play (something ZOS promised they would address) so I have to grind or just not have them.
- The passives seem lacklustre compared to the time it will take to acquire them, some are simply ones they have stolen from class skills (like my NB potion boost)
- The increase to the stars after hitting double figures becomes negligible even faster than the pessimists among us predicted pre-PTS so there is little to motivate you. 10 hours of play to get 0.01% increase in damage is not much of a motivator to keep people playing.
This system was supposed to be exciting and encourage people to play for the hours to master it all even if that took 1,000's of hours - to do that it needs to give the player a feeling of progress rather than a feeling of working on a minimum wage production line.
TL;DR - Games are supposed to be fun, this system is not fun. That is bad
