Why is Nightblade now the worst Class for Stealth Burst?

Correct me if I'm wrong here (I'm 80% done with the PTS), but it seems Nightblade has no access to Major Berserk, Major Force or Major Brutality before engaging, unlike other classes.

This, coupled with the nerf to Hemorrhage actually makes sure we deal less stealth burst damage than other classes (even with the Master Assassin passive).

I picked this class specifically to play a stealth focused rogue character, but now it seems every other class is better at it.


Suggestion to ZOS: Give Nightblades access to Major Force buff through a skill or passive. No other class has it, apart from Aggressive War Horn ultimate in Assault skill line.

EDIT: PTS finally finished loading today, so I can cross some things off from this list:

Hemorrhage
Hemorrhage still has the +10% critical strike damage bonus. It has the new bonus on top of this. No complaints.


Regarding the buffs: Since Hemorrhage didn't get nerfed after all, it turns out NBs might still have a small lead with stealth burst:

Sorcs=+20% Weapon Damage (Surge)+X Heavy Attack dmg from Bound Armaments
DKs=+40% Heavy Attack dmg
NBs=+10% Weapon Damage (while stealthed), +8% dmg from Grim Focus (Minor Brutality) & +10% Critical Strike damage (Hemorrhage)


What I do feel should be changed however, is the Major Brutality buff from Momentum. I have written more about it here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/148635/momentum-a-must-have-for-dw-bow-builds

    Two hand night blade, rally + stealth+ invis + wrecking blow = Massive burst from stealth. So it's possible but you probably just don't want to do it.

    While I'm not in favor of Momentum/Rally applying to all physical skills (not just 2H) due to the pigeonholing of stamina builds as a cause of this, I'd be happy to see it still buffing all the 2H skills.

    Further if they make reapers mark not UN-stealth you.......... then yeah wrecking blow will be raining body parts from stealth on a night blade. Don't know if it's bugged or working as intended but reapers has been flagging me something awful.

    It doesn't reveal you in live, so maybe they've broken stealth in yet another way...

    Remember that it's only 40% reduction after 1.6, not 75%.
    And I've found it fairly useless on live server, as people just start blocking & stacking shields if they get marked.

    I used Blur last night in the PTS, the double take Morph with the 40% more speed for 4 secs, and when I cast it in sneak, it does not break the sneak. I just thought I would point that out.

    Oh yeah, Flawless Dawnbreaker is also a let down now, only get 8% more weapon damage with it slotted in the Ultimate slot..
