What class makes the best monster hunter?

I want to make a build that fits alongside the fighters guild tree (which is almost perfect, I love the crossbow). I was thinking two hand and bow (and crossbow) and medium armor, more of a ranger/scout that seeks out and destroys monsters (vampires and werewolves in pvp, for example)

I was thinking nightblade for the finesse attacks, but I'm also thinking sorcerer for the Witcher/Spellsword feel, or DK for fire attacks (though maybe more of a bruiser than I'd prefer.) I'm not too interested in a holy magic type

As you can see, I am torn (though I have already invested a bit into a nightblade.) I need help deciding what class seems the best fit, because honestly none of them really feel like a good fit;a spellcaster (doesn't really fit into the sword and crossbow vision I have, unless the builds magic somehow augments the swordplay ) or a shadow magic/siphoning or burly brawler that sprouts wings and scales. Aesthetics are extremely important which is why I can't decide.

Definately a Templar. Because Templar control the light of the sun, to bring light and to burn undead and unholy creatures.

And you should take into account, that Daedra have resistance to fire. So a Dragonknight makes no sense actually. I myself am a Sorcerer and despise Daedra. But I only use the Hunter ability from the fighters guild tree, it's very nice.
    Auri-El is my lord,
    Trinimac is my shield,
    Magnus is my mind.

I think a sword n board / bow templar would fit nicely as a monster hunter

    Templar all day long
Bobbity Boop, this game might become poop, but I'll still play because I'm just a pile of goop!

To elaborate (playing Pathfinder with friends atm, this post alone will take some time to make) I say pick a Templar because they wield the light and will of the divines, using sun fire and unique priestly, cleric like skills in line with paladin magic.

Via Templar skills you can make a class in the vein of an Inquisitor, which is a monster hunter in pathfinder like Van Helsing. Trust me, Templar ftw on this one

I went with a nightblade. Tried out the templar but it felt too much light a tanky holy warrior (not exactly my vision of a Van Helsing character) while the nightblade felt like a swift, efficient killing machine.
