I recall reading that oats and tomatoes would continue to be rare ingredients; both stacks vanished from my bank.

It was said they'll be converted to equivalent, new, rare ingredients. Are you sure it didn't just change name/icon?

They changed them. Oats are now Bervez Juice and tomatoes are now Frost Mirriam.

I checked this by going onto live, seeing how many of each (oats, tomatoes) I had on a character, went to PTS and looked for an ingredient with the same quantity.
I then headed to a fire and confirmed that Bervez Juice and Frost Mirriam are now use in purple recipes. Tada!

Well this is true, however tomatoes are still required in the purple recipe and it seems that goat meat gets converted to the tomatoes now needed for one of the new V10 recipes? Interesting. ? cry foul?

Tomatoes are now considered a common ingredient. I am prepping by taking screenshots of all my characters inventories to use as a comparison tomorrow. I will be streaming live tomorrow focusing on the provisioning changes. I'll be putting it up on youtube later as well as making a forum post
