Nightblade - 2nd team role

My main is a VR6 Nightblade and can run as DPS in team dungeons well. I want to develop a 2nd role for him to make it easier to get a team, but it isn't clear to me what role between tank and healer fits the NB best.

What second (tank or heals) role do you guys think suits a NB best and would have the easiest time finding teams for dungeon runs.

Both! NB is the most versatile class, in my opinion.

I play a NB healer. My husband tanks on his NB.

In fact, when we cleared DSA it was his NB tanking and me healing on my NB. :)

I have specs for all three, and I find them all fun. If you want to have just one of the two, I would honestly recommend just trying them out. You might fall In love with one.

Any suggestions to links with solid builds for NB healer or Tank?

    NBs can do almost anything.

NB tanks are, in my opinion, the best tanks in the game due to veil of blades and sap essence tanking.

NB healers can heal with both a resto staff and their siphoning abilities(has to be both), and have extra magicka from passives.

pick whichever you feel like doing the most.

... and leaching attacks. NB tanking is very good but they have no good CC. I'm thinking of sorc tank to compare.

A magicka based Nightblade based on class skills (specificly the Siphoning tree) is always welcome because it offers healing and veil of blades. I had to level my NB to v14 because we had too few NB in the guild (or at least too few who are v14 and play PvE). I still think a vet dungeon played by 4 (magicka) NBs wouldn't need a dedicated healer, just a tank and 3 dds who heal with their main attack (srsly, funnel health is in my opinion one of the most powerfull and versatile skills in the game).

I don't think you need to find another role to be more thought after for groups (except 4 man pugs, they are most often lacking a healer and/or tank). In a trial you have 1-2 tanks, 1-2 healers and at least 8 dds.

If you still want to find another role for your NB I suggest tank, most pugs are not good enough for a non-templar healer.

While I applaud you for your achievements, people like you (who heal/tank without dk/templar) always forget to mention that you run with 3 other people who are very good or are in a 4-man(woman)-group who played so often and so long together that you fall in the first category and also work together like a well-oiled machine.

Hi there! Pretty new to eso and i have one question :)

I realy like stealth classes, but mostly they are overused and are not able or only hard able to find a pve endgame group!

How about eso, if im respecing my NB to a tank later on, am i able to find pve endgame groups? Or are they 1000million other NBs and just 1 or 2 templer and dragon knightS? ^^

    thanks

there are 1000million DK ))). And now in the end of game any class with magika build can play any role (with differen equipment). So it does not really matters what class you play. How it will be after 1.6 I don't know.

    Very true :)
(And it's kinda evident from my Sig)

But I have also met some amazingly skilled pug groups with a wide variety in the different roles. Pugging is actually something I do quite frequently. As fun as it is to run with the same guild(s), sometimes I like to mix it up a bit.

Just as I have run with DK healers who I would trust to heal me in anything, I have also run with templar healers who make me glad I run the siphoning build.

But to the OP, I would recommend tank, as it is more... forgliving. NB healers can be amazing, but it's certainly not something you can just pick up and run with.

Also, I would recommend finding a guild to run with. If you are AD/NA, I could even show you the ropes.
