Restro staff

Dow_phoenix1ub17_ESO
I need some thoughts please.
V-14 Veteran pledge dungeons can be difficult.
I am not a Templar and ESO promised you could be viable no matter what your build, (lies?)

I seem to be called under healing.

I have so much to do.
I watch health.
I have to watch where everyone is dodge rolling off to, as well as where are those long range casters standing.
I have to watch my mana
I have to watch bosses for signs of the next big attack.
I have to watch the ground for circles, dots, lines, rectangles, and foot trapping invisible rocks.
Which weapon bar am I on.

I can never stand still.
There is always one group member that does not fit into the circle for healing springs spell.
Or is not in line for the cone heal/buff (be nice if the buff lasted a bit longer)

I have been running
Eyes of Mara for the 12% save in restro staff magic cost.5 piece
Tried seducer for magic Regen 3 piecee and willows path for spell crit 3 piece
I have soul shine for jewelry level v10.

I have Mage light up for crit.
Mundas thief for crit, (I feel I should try ritual for healing but I am also a dps build so when I swap armor I keep the crit chance up) but can that much of a tiny difference be majestically the fix?

In voice systems (VOX, RC, TS3, Vent...)
I hear "we need to dps this this boss faster. The adds come before we get the first boss down"

After 4 or 6 deaths the subject changes, "the healer can not keep us alive long enough" the change is on to the healers fault.

Never once is it their fault for not staying in the retro staff healers ring, or in front for the cone. I bubble them I rock sheild them except when they run out of range.

I am really hating Mage inner light, that takes up two slots in order to swap bars for more tools. But people want to see the maGe light cause they want that crit heal.

Recently in an upper crag big dungeon, was awesome. 3 v14 and a v 3. We complete fine with my healing. Had problem with a spider until we found that when it goes up to the ceiling, it is still spitting poison, we moved away, group was good.

Went to vet pledge spindle clutch with 4 v14's and in the middle boss with spiders then spider mini boss, then people, then last boss, I could not keep up my mana when that last round came up. With the circle that causes everyone to run away, which in turn runs them out of the circle of healing, also can run them out of bubble range as well.

I can only do so much because the retro heal is limited.

When I play dps I usually only need one bar, so I keep healing on second, i know restro staff healers are limited and I know there limits.

I know when I am need to off heal for groups to survive.

My straight healing roll in hel ra citadel went perfectly fine.

It is some of these Vet dungeons that I cannot seem to heal through. Even at the start them little trash mob spiders killed group members as I was spamming springs like mad.

I am getting frustrated again, I stopped playing October thru November because of this set back, I enjoy the game, I want to heal groups in vet dungeons.

But it seems I need some help, or maybe it truly is ESO lied about being able to build effective characters your way, I see so many limits to restro staff healing.

So, any thoughts from v14 retro staff healers non Templars?

I also heal with non-templars and this is indeed very painful. I would very much like to see improvements in the restoration staff abilities.

I suggest you wait for the patch notes of update 6 and the PTS testing in January though, because many abilities will be tweaked and many numbers adjusted. Hopefully this will be enough to make sorcerer healers and NB healers viable. (Not you Dragonknights, you don't deserve to carry a resto staff :P)
