I'm playing a 2 handed sword + bow sorcerer it was working out epicly for a long time but now into the middle vet ranks it seems to fall short on ultimate and actual class skills. im mainly going for burst dps pound someone with crit rush and using wrecking blow. i was running a 70% crit medium armor with crit surge but the epicness faded as more and more vet stuff seems to shrug off crits like a dog does water...
i started to try subbing out the crit style for momentum which seems to be okay but in the end still doesn't feel much more powerful
Skill line 1 (two hander)
endless fury, wrecking blow, crit rush, carve, critical surge, ult energy overload/storm atro
(added carve to the roster for that nice semi aoe and bleed dmg)
skill line 2 (bow)
endless fury, magnum shot, poison arrow, critical surge, volley/liquid lightning/dark crystal/wtf ever, ult same as above atro or overload
overall it worked great til later where everything is either snare resistant, crit proof , or unable to wrecking blownto the full effect. so im kinda at a loss on what to 2
as afar as gear i was doing 7 piece medium with 5pc night mothers gaze for on crit armor crushes, and then using hundings rage 3pc on weapon and 2 armor pieces, and a 2 piece ring set that gave me 4% more crit and a nice stamina chunk and reduction in skill costs.
mostly enchanted gear for health and stamina and weapons have crushing enchants. hoping to double up the armor crush from night mother and the enchant + crit dmg all rolled into a steam roller of hurt but doesn't seem to hit as great as planned.
should i go with crit rates that high or sub out some of my crit for other stuff? of eat sweetrolls and cry in a corner because I've hit vet so many times and all chars feel like pushovers later in the game...?
