What am I going to do with 427 Ta runes?

I've trained two toons to level 40+ enchanters and in the process I amassed gobs of Ta and even Jejota runes.

Selling them in the guild stores is a lost cause, the prices are already low and putting stacks of 100 at the low price didn't get any takers in a month. I tried splitting some in stacks of 25 or 10 and still no takers in a month.

So I'm wondering can we get some sort of "recycling" program? Say I take 10 or 12 Ta runes to the enchanters bench and offer them to Zenithar and he grants me a Jejota rune for it.

A similar deal for the other runes as well, I offer 8 to 10 Jejota runes and get (assuming I have the skill to use them) a Denata. And 6 to 8 Denata get me a Rekuta and maybe 4 to 6 Rekuta get me a Kuta.

The number of runes you need to offer is based on your skill level, the types you're allowed to offer are based on what skills you've unlocked. If you can't craft with a Kuta you can't make a Kuta.

A similar mechanic could be done for all the materials. Convert Dwarven Oils to Grain Solvent. Convert Pitches to Turpen. You get the idea.

It would still keep rare ingredients rare because of the numbers required to convert. To get a single Kuta from Ta runes would take 1920 of them at a minimum. I'm sure some of you might even have that many Ta runes lying around. Would you trade 1920 of them for a Kuta? I probably would.

Selling them in the guild stores is a lost cause

I see Ta's listed for 100 gold in the stores, don't know if they are selling at that price.

You probably have a ton of Potency and Essence runes too. Since the Inspiration gained from deconstructing something another crafter made is better than any other one you would deconstruct, then make a bunch of glyphs using Essence Runes you don't want with Potency runes you have the most of. Sell those in the Guild Stores for less than 100 gold and they will fly off the shelves. And you will get more Inspiration in the mean time. And about 30,000 to 42,000 Gold depending on how you price them.

I do this with all the Stamina and Frost Essence Runes that I will never use. And probably will regret someday when they make Stamina worthwhile.

I would certainly not buy Ta at 1 gold each. Maybe half that, but Ta is pretty easy to find. It practically jumps in your bag as you walk by.

As you can see, the XP received from deconstructing white glyphs has more than doubled. This has mechanically increased the value of Ta runes, meaning the situation is much better now than it used to be.

If you don't know what to do with your Ta runes, craft some glyphs with your main enchanter using the Potency runes that you can spare and deconstruct them with your other characters. When you reach level 32 in enchanting, you can put 3/3 skillpoints in hirelings and get deliveries every 12 hours, with some good aspect runes every now and then.

I do not particularly like your idea of trading several lower qualities runes/materials for higher quality ones. Use/sell what you can, vendor the rest.

I'm glad I'm not the only one scraping those runes and bagging them. Seems most players leave them upon scraping and frowning. Take them so another rune (maybe a kuta) will spawn milk drinkers!

I use them, my enchanters have more potency and essence runes than Aspect, and every single one helps. I can also swap runes from one enchanter to the other for the disassemble xp, which gives more xp than building the glyphs.

Again the same thread but I don't know if the same person so my answer is the same : I will give you 1 kuta in exchange of 1920 ta's :). No need to wait for the developpers to allow it.

Like other posters, I use the Ta to make glyphs that I sell in guild stores. I price them pretty low, and they almost always sell within a few days. I sell more glyphs than anything else. You are sitting a potential goldmine.

In theory, I'm not opposed to your upgrade plan. It's like upgrading gems in Diablo III. I doubt it will ever happen though.

I like the upgrade idea as well, but I also dont think it will happend.

If we look at another game where you can exchange gems, I am thinking of Lotro, you can only downgrade the quality of gems (or at least that is how it was a year ago when last logged in)

I just assumed folks would rather have the raw materials and craft items themselves. I'll try selling the glyphs and see what comes of it. Thanks for the idea.

And, yeah, I played a fair amount of Diablo III, the gem upgrade was sort of the basis for my idea. That and not having a good idea of what to do with hundreds of Ta runes. ;D

I'm guessing that most glyphs that sell are being used to advance enchanting, not for equipment. That may not be the case, but there is much more experience from deconstructing glyphs than from making them, and even more from crafted glyphs than from looted glyphs. I charge a little more for glyphs I make than those I loot.

I tested few weeks ago to level one 40+ alt with whites. It was quite possible. Sorry i have forgotten the numbers but it was maybe 50-100 to get a level with potency 7 and 8. Just cross-feed them between your alts. Therere is nothing else you can do with them.
