There was some crafting related discussion in today's ESO Live broadcast related to the new content in Update 5.

• The crafting certification quests are being released. These quests will walk any player - including escapees from The Wailing Prison and even VR14 players - through the basics of how to craft all six professions. The rewards will include crafting skill line inspiration points in addition to the usual quest rewards of XP and gold.
  
• Once players have been certified, they can complete daily crafting writ quests where you make some items to deliver to a location for your level. The rewards for these quests include an occasional survey report which is the crafting version of a treasure map. The location marked on these reports (maps) will include high yield nodes. So instead of having an ore node that offers 3 or 4 ore, they will offer more (not sure how many but significantly more). For Master crafters, the locations in the reports will offer a greater chance at Nirncrux stones. For Provisioning, recipes will take the place of the report. Recipes will be rewarded with every Provisioning writ and rarer recipes will be rewarded occasionally.
  
• VR10 recipes are coming. I don't believe it was mentioned if VR10 potions are coming; but I will scout the PTS next week and I will let everyone know. I don't believe these are included.
  
• The new Dwemer style can be learned by finding a gold Dwemer motif (same level as Imperial) or you can find chapter which are purple in quality/frequency and they cover items like axes or gloves, thus you will need to find multiple chapters. I think these books and chapters will drop only in Dwemer ruins; but I am not 100% certain.
  
• Materials for crafting the new Dwemer armor and weapons will be from new items dropped from Dwemer mobs. The existing Dwemer scraps and such will not be used for crafting.
  
• There is a new 9 trait crafting station which will offer a 2 piece Health boost, a 3 piece Stamina boost, a 4 piece Magicka boost and a 5 piece boost that allows you to have two Mundus stones active simultaneously.
