Palomino Horse??

So, I am debating between upgrading to Imperial, or buying the Palomino (wish it were a tad cheaper). I couldn't care less about some of the upgrade swag (i don't want a mudcrab pet, don't care about Imperial armor, etc.) so the Palomino sort of makes sense. PLUS, every person who has exchanged their ring of Mara with me (all two of them...) have immediately stopped playing. I don't know -- is it me or is it them? I did spend 17K on the cheap horse for one character but it took me MONTHS to raise the gold.

My real question is -- if we purchase the Palomino package is it linked to account? So If I delete a character (you never know it could happen), does my new character still get a Palomino for 1G??

If it had been available at launch I might have gotten the Palomino instead of the Imperial pack. I like the coloring much better than my white horse and I haven't used the rings of Mara or the pet. I have made an Imperial character and the imperial horse is actually pretty good considering the 1g price, so I have made use of the other aspects of the imperial pack.

Well like other said , you do get a 1G horse any of your chars can buy any amount of times in the imp upgrade. I do think they have the same stats also.

If you aren't the grammar police, why'd you comment? (I apologize for being snarky but apparently, I am now bothered by my own prose. Dang it.) ^-^

Clearly having a bad grammar day here!

Yes, you can purchase a 1G Horse for every character you make. You can even have multiple 1G horses for a single character. So one you could make speedy, one you could make fast and one you could make have lots of Stamina (although I don't know why you ever would, the knock off protection is not that effective)

If you don't care about the crab, the ring, playing as an Imperial, and crafting Imperial, then it's totally worth it. I didn't care about any of that, got the horse, and am quite happy with my decision. (Except I did feel a little like I was doing a PTW thing. I got over it. This time.)

That would be "the" grammar police ;)

I have long argued the Palomino is over priced; should probably be between $7 and $9 USD. As it stands though; buy the Imperial Edition upgrade; you will get:
    • Imperial horse, which you can purchase for one gold multiple times on each alt just like the Palomino.
    • Imperials (race).

The other perks are specious from what you have written but the above is great in and of itself.

The price of the palomino is bothersome -- if it were priced at under $10 I wouldn't even be fussing about it. #wishitwerecheaper; #maybeiamjackbenny

You can have as many palominos as you want to feed! Good thing about the Imperial upgrade is you don't have to buy the motif if you're trying to get the achievement for being able to craft all the styles

Well worth the price I think.
I would've/should've upgraded for the Imperial traits but there's no way am I levelling another character now.

I wish both horses (imperial and palomino) had better starting stats.

I caved and purchased the palomino! And, I'm very glad I did. Thanks to all of you for helping me pro and con this (minor and silly) quest for info!

I have both and am pleased with both purchases.

It depends on what you want, OP.

Of course, it doesn't have to be one or the other. You can always upgrade to the Imperial Edition if you decide you want that other stuff later on down the road.
