Sorcerer Bound Armaments

So I'm pretty sure this will be high dps, using bound armaments w/ heavy crushing shock weave. But i am having issues with the numbers for the heavy attack damage. Tooltip says 10% more damage with heavy attacks (at rank III ). The following data was run on the same mob types, full heavy attacks, the only changes are with and without crit surge and bound armaments.

1.
566 normal attack, full heavy, with bound arms, without crit surge.
849 critical attack, full heavy, with bound arms, without crit surge.

522 normal attack, full heavy, without bound arms, without crit surge.
783 critical attack, full heavy, without bound arms, without crit surge.

So from this, 10% extra damage from bound arms (from the 522 normal, full heavies) should be 52.2.
522 x 0.1 = 52.2
522 + 52 = 574

So full heavy normal attacks with bound arms SHOULD be 574. yet I get 566 consistently.

2.
This test will use crit surge.
656 normal attack, full heavy, with bound arms and crit surge.
984 critical attack, full heavy, with bound arms and crit surge.

630 normal attack, full heavy, without bound arms, with crit surge.
944 critical attack, full heavy, without bound arms, with crit surge.

Once again, the 10% extra damage from bound arms should be 63.
630 x 0.1 = 63.
630 + 63 = 693.
Full heavy attacks with bound arms should be 693, yet they are 656.

So either A. I suck at math, B. Bound armaments is broken or C. There is something I'm missing, such as: bound armaments adds weapon power or damage as opposed to straight damage (as the tool tip says).

Has anyone else tested this? Can i get some answers?

I think you'll find that the root of the problem that you're having is that something else is boosting your heavy attack damage- probably some kind of passive or gear bonus and that they're both calculating from the same base number.

Say, for instance you have two separate 10% boosts to heavy attack damage, the first will bring you from 500 to 550, the second will bring you to 600 instead of 605.

That or there's some kind of funky DR mechanic that mobs have that's more effective the more damage they take.

EDIT: It actually looks like the bonus damage is calculated off of your weapons weapon damage stat exclusively instead of taking into account other boosts such as surge and enchantments.
