Templar is a fun class. Healing strangers can at times be an exercise in patients. Some people run around in damaged white armor, have strange builds, and are oblivious to their surroundings. For example, I rode past an anchor yesterday and a level 29 DK was trying to solo it. I could barely keep him alive as level 12 mobs were shredding him.
The class can be for you if you can keep a cool head when grouped with people who almost seem to be trying to be bad.
It's a powerful class. Do well with it and you'll make friends.

It helps to have a healer that can properly DPS, and a DPS that can properly heal at times, even if we're a little lower than the others at most times.

The thing that draws to me it the most is that I can be a very good healer and don't need a resto staff to keep my friends up.
I've heard a lot of people complain that they don't have any attacks, but looking at the skills they have I could really make use of most of them (I usually use a good bit of stamina weapons).
