Balance issues

Have been playing MMOS for about 10 years now, but this is the first time when by playing for about 3 days I can clearly feel the balance problems.
Playing with Dragonknight, full heavy armor, 2 handed weapon, using mostly weapon skills +some class skills. I love playing as a classic warrior, but this is a joke. At first I didn`t understand why there are so many people running around in light armor wielding staffs, well ... now I do.
I haven`t started to PVP yet , but I just can`t imagine how I will be able to kill anyone.

I'm guessing you're a relatively new player like me?

My understanding is the developers have acknowledged this particular problem, have already taken some steps to rectify it and promise that more are on the way.

But yes, presently the game doesn't favor ignoring magic - even if you really, really want to.

heavy armor is just almost useless right now.
You can get away with mostly stamina skills in medium armor.

PvP DK builds still use heavy armor. You're probably just sucking because of 2H.

Seriously, you are playing the most OP class in the game and you feel weak? Try the same gear and setup on another class, you'll feel the real issues.

Switch to dual wield instead of 2H tada your DK will be back to a killing machine.

2H is just currently terrible in this game.

Well, dual wield skills seem to be terrible in PVP . For example flurry.

Maybe 2H is bad for DK, but works alot better than Dual Weild with NB

if you use 2H you are like me: stubborn. I use 2H because I love doing it, no matter how awful it is atm.

2H weapons barley do more damage than 1H weapons; the abilities are.... meh( the "power strike" of the class, as I call it, has a freaking cast time... a melee ability having a cast time??? why???) and the worst of all..... it can be blocked by everything! it does not attack fast enough to drain a blockers stamina, and it has no abilities to deal with blocking either.

if you switch to a staff, a shield, a bow, or maybe even DW, you will do much better.

does not mean 2H is completely useless: you can still do well with it.... but its a lot harder to than it is with other weapons

You're a DK you're already OP. No matter what you wear and what weapon you have you will be impossible to kill.

the balance in favor of that build comes in form of end game item sets and grouping. Having allies feed you stamina (templars I'm looking at you) and having certain - extremely powerful heavy only damaging item sets can mean you do a LOT of damage. But alas it will take a lot of effort to make it work and it will be extremely conditional in effectiveness.

Hahaha my hybrid NB would disagree with your assessment of flurry.
