Hey everyone, I have been working on a guide to all the various set bonus crafting locations in ESO. This has been updated for update 3 on August 4, 2014.

Anyways here it is: http://dulfy.net/2014/05/18/eso-set-bonus-crafting-stations/

Enjoy!

...apparently we cannot craft droped sets I have been told. We need to be able to do this especially since they are most useful ones.
    Indeed it is so...

If they did this, then crafted armor would be the best as you could mix a set over light and heavy armor. But in beta they said the best 'sets' would always be drop only. (Gives the raiders something to go for)

Anyone know if the 5% spell critical from both sets stack?

    Night Mother’s Gaze
3 = Critical attacks also reduce targets armor by 20%
    5 = Add 5% spell critical

    Willow’s Path
    3 = Add 5% spell critical

Time for me to redo my armor

If those stack, it would be awesome, I run Willows, Seducer, Magnus now...would be glad to drop Magnus and Seducer for another 5% spell crit.

Are we sure Night Mother's is spell crit. Makes absolutely no sense to have a set that reduces armor, increase spell crit over physical.

Keep in mind class skills are spells...

Not all class skills are. The entire Assassination and and most of the Shadow tree for NB scales off weapon crit.

Unless of coarse this was a bug and has been addressed in this patch. Though I have not seen anything mentioned. I do agree it should be, if for nothing else to make it easier to understand.

    I should clarify:

Teleport Strike, the damage of this skill is determined by max magicka, as it should be, however it utilizes physical crit instead of spell crit.

And to make things more complicated, these same said skills also utilize armor reductions and not spell resist. Hence why I don't think the set bonus makes sense.

So while it's technically a spell, it is only considered half of one.

The best we can come up with as to why it uses physical crit, is because it has a physical component when the damage is applied. Now it would be wonderful if it were not supposed to be that way, since it would make gearing a lot easier. This is true for quite a few skills in all of the classes.

One more broken thing about NB...didn't know that.

Oh yeah I entirely forgot we base things off weapon crit (NB's). If that is intended for us, night mothers should be weapon crit imo

That is what it is on PTS, could be changed before the patch on live.

One more broken thing about NB...didn't know that.

Its not broken, it actually helps NBs and makes sense. You want those class melee style skills based off of weapon crit because those skills are designed to work with your weapon skills and armor on the same build. So they benefit from the 21% medium armor crit bonus. Otherwise you would have some melee abiklities based off of magic crit and some off of melee crit and you would be gimping yourself trying to raise both instead of stacking 1

Now for the armor getting the magic crit bonuses that makes zero sense, it needs to be physical

As a Templar, my vote is for it to stay 5% spell critical but I can see where a NB is coming from.

The 100 defense bonus from Alessia's Bulwark and Torug's Pact sets does stack.

Ok... So all what Physical damage dealers get is buff of weapon skills damage from Hunding Rage set at 5 pieces which probably nobody can craft yet.
Death’s Wind Weapon Damage buff is an insult. Even VR5 version of droped set gave 8 damage.
Also all of the droped sets which give weapon damage give it at 3 pieces while we forced to waste set parts to recieve useless for PVE damage dealer knockback effect.
If Death Wind gave weapon damage bonus at 3 items it would be somewhat usefull.
This not even worth of attention compared to regural GREEN droped sets.

At the same time Mages recieve even more buff because they now can craft sets with bonuses which was avaible only from Drops and i talk about stats buff.
(There was one set which give Magicka bonus before patch, but bonus was silly and not worth of attention).
Magnus’s Gift - 100 Magicka at 5 items (also 5% no negate spell cost)
    Spectre’s Eye - 100 Magicka at 3 items.

Since they both crafted they can be stacked by making one of the pieces as weapon.
So we end up with 200 Magicka -.-
This is a very huge damage buff for Magicka based skills.

Also those TONS of magicka recovery sets -.-

None of the 8 trait sets worth an attention for PVE physical damage build also...

It is like 90% of sets were made for spellcasters. 9% for Tanks and 1% for Physical damage dealers.

While 100 stamina buff would contribute into damage much more then 18% buff from hunding rage or 6 weapon damage from Death's Wind, there is NO stamina buff sets at all.

Why such hate for Physical damage dealers ? :(

P.S. Thx for the work. Nice guide.

    Nice thing i noticed today.
If you upgrade Hunding Rage set for example, set bonuses become stronger.
For example, you get +1 stamina regen and +1 weapon skill damage buff when upgrading to green.
Then another +1 for blue e.t.c

Ok... Hunding Rage set do NOT improve your weapon skill damage.

I hate the last update, just when i have upgraded my veteran armor to legendary BOOM new update and my full set is now garbage, and Duffy the status in you page are wrong because of that too, the 6% movement speed of the night's silene set is now other thing, i know this because in one of my char i had this set and now i have to seek another armor set and i can't find any where info about it i will have to visit every hidden station and take screen shoot or write what does each because no one has updated that and because Bethesda is changing the set status so offten. please STOP or if you gonna do it dont do it so offten or atleast give us the material we use to make our current set armor, veterans take a little longer to pass from vet 2 to 3 or 9 to 10 but i have just upgraded my set 1 day after the last update and now i have green armor set becasu i used all my items to do the last one, i better start visiting this hidden places i have to work tomorrow.
