Shield Color

So I had a V3 Epic Level Altmer shield on my tank, before it was a solid silver/white color, but after todays update 9/15/2014 its a black/brown color, why did it change exactly? I can't find a reason for it in the Patch Notes, really wish you could dye shields

✭✭Nope, all my shields are the same colour as before, but my highest character is VR1.
Hopefully they will get shield dyes sorted out soon, and you can fix the colour to something you like.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

Honestly, why shouldn't weapons be dyable?
Before 1.3, you could get weapons that had a goldish hilt, and I could swear the grip color changed. Now they all lock to match the blade's material.
To say nothing of things like quivers that are very clearly using clothing colors, but can't be dyed.0
