NB - Crushing Glyph---Does it work for Magicka Based Attacks ??

Previously i used Marked Target to reduce Armor.
Now, I'm thinking of moving to Crushing to remove armor.

(NB) - BUT all of our attacks are Magicka based
Does Crushing working for Magicka Based Weapon Attacks.
Or Just for PHYSICAL (WEAPON BASED) attacks.

I know our melee class skills are against armor even though they are magicka based (teleport strike, surprise attack, Impale). I believe Funnell Health and Cripple is against Spell Resists.

So it appears. that if we go with Crushing Glyph (ring or weapon).
We could forgo --marked target. and its substantial debuff.

I previously used - unresistable damged (weapons).
Mixed with Marked Target.

But, for PVP.
Using Crushing Glyph -- appears to be safer route.

With the current meta of people stacking impenetrable, crushing and penetration trait are probably best.

I was told today, that glyphs DO NOT apply to NB melee based skills. This was told by ESO.

If you have other information, Please provide.

If this is true, I will need to change my build.

Pretty sure it's just light and heavy attacks.

wow.. so much confusion for such a simple topic. NB melee based magicka abilities including ambush and concealed weapon go vs armor resist. (tested and confirmed personally).

The crushing proc will NOT be activated by using a magicka ability. to get the proc you have to do a stamina based weapon attack or a light attack. Once the proc is applied the debuff works and your magica based melee type NB abilities will do more dmg.

also you cant double up procs. only one of each type will work on any given set up. so no double crushing procs..

Ok tested and CONFIRMED now - the "Crushing" glyph is affecting Swallow Soul and Ambush functionality.

All abilities operate as per normal without Crushing applied.

Once Crushing is applied Swallow Soul is only able to tick for 3, 5, or 10.

Once Crushing is applied Ambush does NOT apply any dmg bonus..

Please Hot Fix this.

I think so as well. I started running crushing on my 2H and you need to hit a light attack for the debuff to work. Concealed weapon does more damage from it as it uses armor as its damage check.

Would you think Night Mothers (5-set) would stack with Crushing?
