Flying mounts would not mesh with the current game design, and has issues with the lore.
The Dwemer are gone. That's it. Over. Done. No more.

✭✭✭✭✭Dwemer as playable race. Because I want it!As others have said, having one or two dragons make an appearance wouldn't necessarily break any lore (although more than that sure would), as dragons are currently near-extinct, but we know that there are at least a couple still around.
Flying mounts would be totally lore-breaking IMO (and dragon mounts even more so), and I can't think of any lore-based explanation that could be given without it being ridiculous.
Dwemer as a playable race would be even worse, though. They're gone. Exactly where they went, whether they're dead, somewhere in Oblivion, merged with Mundus, or what is a mystery. As far as I'm aware there's exactly one living dwemer, and he doesn't know what happened to the others. Having them a playable race in ESO would break so much lore it wouldn't even be funny.

now seriousness dragons, eh while they are supposed to be gone, when you look at the events of skyrim can you really say they are gone or just dormant. though i agree they are unheard of around this time period.
flying mounts. really why? the landscape is so gorgeous why miss out, and agree lorebreaking, besides there are wayshrines all over who needs a bloody flying mount.
dwemer....now, this one could be a bit touchy. all the lore says the dwemer are gone, but nothing says where. now there are many other lands all throughout nirn other than just tamriel. whose to say that the dwemer did not go there. so lorewise it could be possible to implement dwemer as a race, but eh. to me the dwemer would be like trying to revive the ayleids or falmer(snow elves). while the lore for them exists really these are meant to be dead races, yes falmer are not really dead sorta, but man are they ugly, so unless some crazy psycho mage creates a time travel spell, which never can put past a crazy mage, i just dont see them as a player race.Edited by aronothub17_ESO on 8 August 2014 20:450 -

Which is weird since they are egg layers.
So I mean, they probably have some sort of equipment that fits together, and while unable to breed in that manner, could at least copulate.
Probably how they developed breasts between morrowind and oblivion. Argonian males saw them on other race females and started favoring argonian females with bumpy chests. Evolution took over... really fast.
