Is there anyone playing full heavy armor DK with one hand and shield spec and 2 handed weapon secondary spec? Is it viable option for PvP?

    Yes and yes. My KDR last night was 21 when I last logged off, 21 kills...1 death. VR8 DK.

    Actually I used heavy armor, 2 handed axe and bow as second weapon all the way to lvl 42 or so and only took up sword and shield because I kept reading how hard Molag Bal was and how a Dragon Knight needed sword and shield to survive him. The truth is I could have beaten with my trusty 2 handed axe. I love my two handed axe and still use it frequently but I have to admit sword and shield does work better for me for tanking.

    Heavy Armor Nord DK, 2-handed Sword for stuff that bleeds, 2-handed Axe for Daedra, Undead and stuff that don't bleed.

    Love it.

    I don't know about PvP, but I do think both a distance and close up weapon are needed in this game in PvE.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Don't you mean the other way around? I believe it is axe that causes bleed :)

    I do it with a sorcerer:) he is only level 10 right now though, so idk if it would be a decent build. im sure a heavy armor 2 hander DK would be good for PvP, I see a lot of them in PvP. they do pretty well.

    DK, full heavy, two handed axe for the spe dot bleed, two handed mace for the spe pierce armor decrease damage ;)

    Well, my main is DK full heavy two handed (with one hand/shield as secondary), but I don't PVP and guarantee I'm not stat and skill optimized. Having fun, though. :)

    What about templar? Will a heavy armour 2h templar be vaible? Thinking of using either 1h/s or bow as secondary.

    As I can see, all here use 2H. Can anyone tell me will momentum apply only for 2H or 1H+S too?

    I do not believe it does. I have tested it and it doesn't transfer the Weapon Damage when I swap to bow.

    My main is an all heavy, 2h/S&B Templar and I have not had any issues. Some Templar abilities are great for tanking and CCable world bosses are soloable by alternating puncturing sweep and wrecking blow.

    Dress and stick people will out-dps me in every situation, but I'm having fun playing this way. I seem to have good chances in 1v1 PvP as well.
