With 819 votes (at this moment) there is enough data to be representative of forum users. Probably it's not enough to guarantee an adequate level of accuracy of actual ESO players, but it does give us an idea.

Based on the current voting results, I assumed a lower boundary on the first age group is 15 and the upper boundary on the last age group is 75. This gives us an average age of about 35.4 years and a median age of 31 years. Meaning the older folks are skewing the average a bit.

For the record I'm a 38 year old college math professor

There's nothing good from the 80's.

There was less good from the 60s. That's just where problems started.

The hippies once demanded free speech for themselves and their radical ideas, but now their intellectual heirs are the ones quashing it most wholeheartedly, when it comes to speech they do not like.

The 80s were just about greed. And no, the hippies didn't grow up to be yuppies. Yuppies were from the crowd the hippies hated - the ones who went to their business and engineering classes instead of protesting. The hippies went into journalism, entertainment, teaching, and politics.

The same was seen in Quebec recently; arts and humanities students protested, and tried to shut down classes of practical-studies students who didn't take to the streets over a minor tuition increase.

My first computer, I am definitely a product of the 80's, in one of those higher-age categories for sure.

Heck, if I could find a fair price on an Atari ST system, I'd buy one for nostalgia-sake, I think.... lol.

I am retired and quite poor but we get a decent pension in Canada and the low rent I pay for my fifth wheel space, allows a comfortable existence. The area is very beautiful and I consider myself very fortunate.

I have a good internet connection and ran servers for many years so I have a place to play.

ESO is my first MMO but I have been playing video games since Doom.

I am having an absolute blast with my level 41 Vampire Witch. She is supported by a full cast of crafters and is just brutal, munches up stuff 4 level above her in good sized groups, took Master Wizard at level 33 and is Justice Incarnate. Well that's what they all seem to think anyway.

48 years old, bless the Eight. I'm the night blade you see taking a breather halfway up the stairs to the tower skyshard to look at the view, or stopping to read all the tomes in a dungeon library. That's papyrus, youngster! These days I may need a few extra stamina potions but it's all good.

Regardless of whether the poll is private or public, people on this forum SHOULD NOT be asking for personal info. That includes your age. There are a handful of other things that are considered personal info, and no one is allowed to post it under Code of Conduct. There's another thread asking about ages, and I'm currently trying to decide whether or not to report this thread so it can be shut down more quickly.
