Question about Cadwell's Silver (Potential Spoilers)

Okay, I've defeated Molag Bal, and gotten my soul back, and am now VR1, but I have a question (or two depending on how you look at it) about Caldwell' Silver and Caldwell's gold, which I intend to start when I finish clearing out some of my inventory with research (about 3 days).
My question is: can I go beck to the Aldmeri Dominion where my toon is based, and do things there, and can I fight in Cyrodiil on the side of the Dominion still?
