Flaming Oil

I'm just wondering if anyone has encountered this issue where players are placing flaming oil, not above the walls or doors but they are able to place it directly on the ground, this means that the players stand in side of it, not getting hurt while it kills anyone that comes into it. It is right on the ground in the bottom parts of the walls within outer keep walls.

Is this a bug or what?

Not a bug. You basically can put oils everywhere. And as there is no friendly fire, it's a common tactic to do so.

It seems like a glitch, stupid that you can place it and dump it on a flat surface.

IMO it is fine. Yes it can get annoying, but it adds more combat situations to PvP.

There is no situation.... it detracts from the game. Unrealistic and honestly, no point to..... when they hide in a corner, drop that.... no matter how many people jump in they can't kill them because the oil drops them too fast. The only way I can see a person defending it is if they actively use it.

It is ridiculous.
