Imperial Edition Accounts with Non-Imperial Race Characters; Should have access to Imperial Style

Shouldn't Imperial Edition accounts be able to create the imperial style armour on ALL toons, not just imperials? It's a little silly to have to pay 50,000 gold on 8 alts that aren't imperials (if you wanted to try all 8 races) or 50,000 on 3-5 alts

Well you don't have to craft on all 8 characters, do you? Also, if you just want to wear the armor (not sell to other players) you can right click the armor and choose Convert to Imperial. This should work on all characters.

Isibis; good point... I don't think the "Right click: Convert to Imperial" was working on my Breton but I suppose that's a different story....

A lot of people will have Clothing/Blacksmithing on different characters as well just due to limited skill points available (esp if you don't wanna be a 100% game completionist)

I also don't feel like I should have to make an Imperial to craft Imperial gear but that's another story

Actually, there are plenty of skill points available, about 330 total. All of crafting takes only 180ish. That would be counting crafts not requiring motifs too.
There are many viable ways of crafting in this game, including on split alts, dedicated alt, main character. Personally I have four crafts on my main, who is also a competent healer/dps. She is only vet 3, so has no access to 30 % of the skill points. I don't claim this is the best, only that it works for me. The only strategy I would not recommend is keeping your alt crafter low level, because you loose access to some crafting stations.

I would like to note that you don't HAVE to make an imperial crafter. You have the option of finding or buying the motif. :)

No, they shouldn't be able to. It allows you to make an imperial race toon, which can then, like all other toons, make THEIR racial items. Having the imperial edition also allows you to convert most items to imperial motif, but they become bound to your account at that time.... some special and named items won't convert.

If you're not of the imperial race, you don't get to make the imperial racials without the motif... just as if you're not xxxx race, you don't get to make xxxx racials without the motif.

I don't really understand the big deal for the most part. Imperial armor is so ugly. If they fixed that then maybe I'd have an opinion.

I've had the right-click "convert to Imperial style" thing work on all of my characters, for gear made by non-Imperial crafters who don't have the crafting style known. Converting binds it, but you still get the appearance for your toons.

I think that they should make it so that you can convert to any type of armor you have motif for. I like to be able to where a set that has a look of solidarity to it, but say I were to pick up a chest piece with better trait and enchant than what I can make, but it clashes with the rest of my armor, I'd like to be able to convert it to match. I don't see this as being unreasonable...
I do what I can, when I can, to provide in game help to those seeking it. @RoyMallis
