Crafted items in imperial style vs converted items into imperial style? (differences in appearance)

So only me noticed this? There is no big difference, just in colors. Converted items seems to me more dark than crafted. And question why? Why ZOS did it? Is it to hard to convert one model to another? Or it was made to distinguish crafted from converted?

The only reason I pointed out the difference between them is to clarify that is why I think there's a difference, because one set can be given/sold to other players, the other cannot so maybe ZoS decided a slight color variance was in order to tell the types apart. All good man.
I would guess this was an unintentional side effect.
There is a decent chance that Imperial Converted Gear (bind on aquire) and Imperial Crafted Gear (bound on equip) are considered different items by the game.
While they use similar textures, they are still distinct items (as much as Breton and Primal Chest are different items).
If so, some minor thing like the reflection color or bump map might be differently between those two. Resulting in the slight difference.
I doubt they did this intentionally, as you can only see it after equipping it. At that point it is bound either way.
I would propably report it as bug. Only cosmetic level, but it is still a bug.

Converted Imperial gear CANNOT be given or sold to another player, only your own alts. Crafted Imperial gear can be done with as one chooses, until it's bound on equip. This is my only guess as to why there's a slight difference in appearance.

This is basically the reason. A small way to distinguish true Imperial armor from a motif from Imperial armor by conversion.

Dude, read the post first and not only the title. I even have nothing more to say to you.

    @Fat_Cat45‌
Maybe. But I check it only an low level gear. Maybe at VR gear you cant see any difference.
    Anyone can check it?
And proof screens. Look at waist and shoulders. Once I noticed arms were different, but now it seems identical.

I totally would check on my VR10, but I don't have the Imperial motif because my bank upgrade was 90k

@AshySamurai So you basically agree with @Fat_Cat45 who was agreeing with my comment but somehow you say I didn't even read your post? Sounds legit.

Nope. All correct. If you read my question carefully than you see that I asked about the difference in appearance(converted are little darker as I see - look at belt and shoulders). But you're telling me that converted items are BoA and
CANNOT be given or sold to another player
. So I cant disagree with you because you're right and all this true but this is not what I asked.
But perhaps this is my fault too and I'm sorry that topic title mislead you. I have edited the title for clarity.

If you had this in mind from the outset, then apparently you're right. And I agree with you and @Fat_Cat45‌. It would be better if @ZOS answered, but seems they not answer user questions so often. Still wondering about differences in VR gear. Any VR Imperials here who can check it?

I contacted support and they confirmed that this is a bug. So I hope that @ZOS fix it soon.
