Where is balancing in 1.3.0?

I see alot of useless changes (except tabards ofc)
And only visual fixes on some skills. Probably good changes on sets, but Zos will *** up all customers who are in full legendary atm...without any refund...

Where is fixes on classes? Where is revamp classes? Templar shield isnt OP already? Did zos try to kill templar who spam this shield with harness magicka up? perma full mana and shield

Where is duels? For raid pve there is alot of other better projects. Fix your pvp first.
Where is cloaks?

  1. on useless and broken shadow cloak
  2. on no usefull synergy from nightblades
  3. on clouding swarm abuse? (ok I see, now dragonguard is 5/5 set bonus...)
  4. on bolt escape ultimate generation (fly through raid and push ultimate again and again...)
  5. on stealth detection and out of combat bug
  6. on unbreakable stuns
  7. on harness magicka + any other shield abuse (or mist form abuse)
  8. on broken doors in cyrodiil
  9. and alot alot more I wont list here coz you are not listen anyway

    Soft cap & armor set changes will go a long way in helping stamina become more competitive with the dress & stick.

    They've got a lot going in this patch. Do they have everything? Nope. The biggest problem -- elder staffs online imho -- they're making progress on, which is good. Plus I get to make my armor look better. Win. :smiley:

    Firstly, update three won't be hitting the live servers until August and the current PTS patch is only 1.3.0 so expect at least 1.3.2 to be the final patch berfore going live. These later patches could have balance ajustments so just wait.

    Secondly, balance is a very slow process, do not expect them to nerf or buff anything to make it the new FOTM, there is no point in getting yourself stuck in a cycle where you nerf X skill because it's too strong, but the nerf makes it pointless so they have to buff the same skill next patch, but that makes it too strong again so they nerf it yet again.

    It's better to take a very slow and steady pace for balance with small tweaks and they are coming slowly, but surely.

    What's wrong with harness magika stacking with other shields?
    -It has a high cost
    -Without stacking, the ~322 dmg shield is rather useless on it's own.
    -It takes up another slot just to make w/e other main dmg shield you use viable.
    -It doesn't mitigate physical dmg on the shield, and considering how stamina builds will be getting extensive buffs...

    Let's be specific here. A few points:
    • Harness Magicka would be utterly useless without stacking. The tiny shield it provides can be wiped by light attacks. It must be covered by another shield, or there's no reason to cast it
    • However, Harness Magicka with Mist Form is loopy, as it provides virtual immunity to spell damage. This is due to the fact that all bonuses in TESO are additive
    Anyone who understands the issue knows that the Harness + Mist combination needs attention. However, this fix should not wipe our Harness as a viable ability.

    It seems that half the game's balance problems boil down to the rushed implementation of Vampires at the end of beta.

    I don't know guys what are you expecting from this game - may be beautiful flowers on fields, new dances or possibility to paint your low textured panths to red color.
    I am expecting character developing. New skills, more builds, pvp and such.

    I went on pts, check out changes and decides for self what it is more useless than usefull for me and create this topic to wake up community managers who are probably do not know what to be better for this game...

    beleave me, not [snip] up customers via full rewamp of item sets without refund or not new emotes.

    and yes, I knew mechanic of harness magicka and how it is worked, how to abuse clouding swarm, how is reflective scales are OP and how OP are Blazing shield coz I pvping all my free time and I think what should not be clases which jump in 10+ ppl, killing half of this while looping ultimate and teleport back out. Or jump in, hold shield and tanking 10+ ppl 30 second like a boss.
    If some1 can do this, this should be looked as priority point. Make it for all classes or delete from all.

    ps. Do not try to explain me how all this worked coz I know what I am talking about

    Uh - sure. He'd rather they worked on the stuff that he thinks they should work on, primarily class balance issues and bugs.

    They have a lot in the works. Bug fixes are ongoing and never ending. Dyes are something that a lot of people want - you may not, but many others do - and the guild upgrades are very welcome, coming from a guild leader. They have many cool ideas and sweeping changes to pretty integral systems in the works, but they will take a lot of time to develop because they want to do them right.

    You want ANOTHER nerf to bolt escape? Really dude?

    Let's count the amount of times this ability was nerfed.
    • Slight pause between uses and reduced range (these were ninja nerfs)
    • Magicka regen halted for 4 seconds.
    • Cannot use while carrying elder scroll (good but why can vamps still use mist form?)
    • Second cast within 4 seconds costs 80% more (on a typical light armor sorc - not the 50% in the tooltip)
    • Second cast ignores cost reduction passives and jewelry - this is why it costs around 80% the second time.

    I hope the last one is recognized as the bug it is and gets fixed. Every other spell in the game is usable with cost reduction passives except BE.

    Also some sorc ults are going up in cost. There must be other things to fix before nerfing sorcs and casters further into the ground.
