Can anyone explain how this is still in the game and if it's an isolated issue with recipes.

Found a blue recipe i had been hunting for ages but am confused how it made it this far without a fix, the recipe in question is Invigorated grilled horker. It shouldn't exist , the invigorated recipes are soups and stews while the name suggests otherwise. Even more alarming are the ingredients , crawdad , stock and onion which i assume are the ingredients from another factions recipe . As i am DC faction i am pretty sure i should not be getting crawdad recipes in stormhaven. If anyone else has found similar errors in recipes please let me know so i can adjust my list , and please Zenimax put these things on your list of things to do , i know it's very long but this should not have got past alpha testing.

I found the same recipe a few days ago, I think it is a recently added mistake. I posted the issue to this thread:

which seems to be the one the developers are looking at for all of the current issues with provisioning.

I picked up some Crawdad from my guild bank so will make some "Grilled Horker" while we wait for a fix.

??? I remember getting crawdads, onions and stock in Stormhaven. I still get onions in Alik'r. And stock is just about everywhere in DC.

Crawdads are usually found, if I remember, as a chance when you pick a water plant.

It is not new. I have had the recipe for a couple months. It might have been the first blue recipe I ever found. And I was like, "Why does it say Horker in the title but the recipe does not use Horker?!? And what is this Crawdad stuff? Never seen it!"

I /bug'ged it but no fix yet. I am sure they will fix it eventually but it is probably not a top priority. And I understand.

I think it is an Aldmeri Dominion food, so you can find it as a DC player in the AD dungeons like Banished Cells. Some of the solo-only quests in the Main Story/Mages Guild/Fighters Guild also seem to have other faction ingredients in them. And I think Farwatch Tower in Glenumbra, which is overrun by Dominion troops, has some AD ingredients in barrels and crates.

You can sometimes find it in areas that are considered 'AD' in the other Alliances but it is not a common ingredient to find in DC. The other issue that the OP is referring to is that the recipe is described in its title as a 'grilled' product (should use suet) but the ingredients used in the recipe are for a stew so you use stock.

Just seems to be a typo in either the name or ingredients used. Also doesn't help that it is dropping in the wrong zone if it is meant to be a Crawdad and not a Horker recipe.

From Nirnroot yes, not sure about Water-Hyacinth, I know Water-Hyacinth gives something but can't recall it it's Crawdad or Worms (fishing bait people, keep it clean please).

I know you can get crawdads from Water-Hyacinth in Cold harbor and Rivenspire for sure.

Nope. Crawlers are red, crawdads are blue.

The ones I got were blue.

Crawdad is indeed an AD food mat. If you actually play Alts you will find that any invaded point will have the invading factions food mats in the container

No, Crawdads are available in AD containers and as a random mat from water plants, just like Plump Worms can be found in EP containers and random mats from plants.

Onions are an improvement material for Soups that should be found randomly in any container.

Thanks for the clarification all about Crawdads and plants. Will go hunting some water based alchemy ingredients when I need some more or just send my alt in AD to go and raid some crates over there.

I still think the point remains though that the recipe's ingredients and effect is already covered by the Invigorated Crawdad Etoufee and that the recipe name or ingredients appear to be an error that should hopefully be fixed at some stage by ZOS, so that they match each other.

Nope. Crawdads are indeed found in water plants. Both Nirnroots and Water Hyacinth have a relatively high percentage of dropping them, well about as high as barrels and crates have of having Red Wheat. So your mileage may vary.
