An Idea To Improve Open World PvP

Hey there!

I am not the type to usually post on forums, however an idea occurred to me and it seemed quite worthy to share it with fellow PvP lovers.

So for the idea. Anyone that plays even PvP needs to PvE sometimes in order to level up. I would suggest to make the quests in Cyrodiil grant a lot more exp than they actually do. This way, it could give a reason for people to actually do them and thus enable some sort of feeling that I have personally been missing over the years: Exping while watching my back. I just find it a pity that people retreat to the safe realms of "PvE world" to come back later. Part of it is simply because the rewards in EXP from the quests in Cyrodiil isn't exactly stellar.

Obviously, this would attract also gankers. However, you can find them pretty much everywhere already, just that now you would know to expect them and eventually learn to counter them. Trust me, it can be done! I think it would also help to balance out some builds/classes rather than some pvp arena instance that would further split the already not so huge PvP community.

I am very well aware that this may have been talked ad nauseam, but as a not so great forum user, I haven't seen it.

Hopefully we can share ideas and have an actual constructive thread about what could be done to make Cyrodiil more lively!

    TBH, vet XP in cyro is not too bad if you get good action as it is.

    There is already too much PVE element with all the guards imo, we don't need more.

    That being said, I see no reason not to bump the pre-vet XP a little bit for the random side quests to help out the lowbies.

    What I meant was mostly in the towns. I am personally not a big fan of "mass pvp", although I do enjoy it once in a while. I like to keep it "special" so that it doesn't come boring for me! There, guards are not really a nuisance.

    Also, I am with you for bumping the exp up for the pre-vet levels. If someone's exping but also likes to PvP, it will just add more to the experience which could make people less prompted to get frustrated. I just think that the gap between exping in veteran areas in PvE and exping in Cyrodiil is a bit too large. It may sound logical to say you would get more exp in the PvE only portion of the game, but Cyrodiil isn't a PvP only map after all!

    Besides, exping in Cyrodiil would be much more risky as you expose yourself to the enemy, thus I believe the reward should be increased upon completion of your quest.
