Speed bug
Just now in Cyrodiil, I seem to have contracted a speed bug. I'm able to move like I have a slew of speed buffs, while in stealth. When out of stealth, it's just silly. Way faster than the fastest horse. Relogging did not remove it. Exiting game has not removed it. Do not hack, never have hacked, don't know how to hack, etc..
It occurred after killing a player with what I believe is the Death's Wind set. I got out of the knockdown and was immediately flying around. It appeared that others are doing the same but not sure if that was just on my end. I do not know what set of circumstances caused this, but obviously I cannot play until it is fixed, without being labelled a cheater (and rightly so). No buffs are shown in addons or character screen. Anyone encountered this and know how to get this off of you?

My apologies, you are correct. I believe it is the Death's Wind set (Unless there is another set that produces this effect). Will change the OP as well.

Yes, that's pretty similar. I'm almost gliding and if I pick a direction and run, I actually build up some momentum and will slide a bit after stopping. This was outside Sejanus on Celarus-US for the record.0

It is just the one character fortunately so I do have some options for playing ESO at least:) I did submit a bug report so hopefully I'll get something from there. I'm tempted to head back to cyrodiil and stand there until someone throws some cc/knockdowns on me to see if that fixes it. The equivalent of banging on the side of the TV when the picture goes, haha.

✭✭✭✭Ah, only fixes when you die and persists through relogs. That explains why the AD emp was an unkillable superman all day couple days ago. Emp stats keep him alive, any time he gets in danger, he just runs like the flash back behind his line, snares do nothing to him and double stamina lets him keep immovable up 24/7. GG

✭it just happened to me too and I killed one fella while running around him at an Ungodly speed..seems nothing goes down..health doesn't go down..stamina doesn't go down..lol; a few DC messaged me and frankly as many times as Ive been killed by this bug from both AD and DC I find it funny they were threatening me but whatever..I logged out and hope it fixes things.
I also reported it.

The really bad thing is that it is consciously reproducible and make no mistake some people are obtaining this super-speed on purpose.

Indeed.. have run into a couple of people that were "playing" while under the effect of the speedbug. IHMO these kinds of people deserve serious repercussions, but we all know that won't happen.
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime... alas their moto is usually, exploit early, exploit often.

Yep I met a group of four players yesterday with the same speed. They wiped multiple times and had that speed throughout all the wipes. I reported all 4.Edited by Armitas on 7 July 2014 11:46Retired.
