Enemy players without tags

Saw this for the first time tonight. Group of 30 or so of the opposing alliance came over the hill,they all looked like friendlies to everyone in our group. No tags above their heads.
Anyone else seen this? Is there some exploit out there that people are using to do this, or is it just some strange bug?

babanovac✭✭✭Our guild group wiped to this a few days ago. We were all on vent wondering what the hell is hitting us. Turns out those 4 allies we were seeing near us were actually enemy players without tags. We only realized it after we were dead.0 -

This happened quite a bit last night...
Some would be targets, just didn't appear to be; Other times, some enemies were not a valid target until attacked by them (or at least that's what it seemed to be... maybe group?).

siledre✭✭✭I didn't think anything of this till now but I've been seeing that too, with all the bugs in this game that's probably all it is and if it's a hack I doubt they will tell us about it.0

Grimlaken✭✭if you wear a disguise from some of the PvE quests (where it shows -Disguised- over your head) it removes the PvP shield from above your head1

teabelly✭✭✭the Guild I'm in had this happen lots awhile back.. always the same group of players in 1 faction. Other players in the same alliance behind them had Alliance Indicators showing.
Not all of them had disguises on, if any, but the shields show on the skelly disguise.
Our work-around was to have Alliance Indicators in settings turned to ALL, that way if it isn't one of your alliance its an enemy.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭yes, i have seen this as well, infact i was killed by an enemy aldmeri dominion because he had no tagg of yellow on his head and i thought he was ebonheart member with me so i did not attack him, but, he started attacking me and i was very confused but within a few moments it was not only him but alot of his friends there and they all killed me, yet, none of them had any yellow thing on thier heads till after i lay dead it finaly loaded thier yellow thing.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭altho now, come to think of it, is this on purpose by zenimax? the lagg only happens when around aldmeri dominion, in addition they do alot of things that seem to eminate HATE towards us ebonheart peoples and dark brotherhood dark elf duel wield dagger users ....
the list of things wrong with eso, why does it all list and add up to only effect ebonheart and dark elf stuff thats broken?3
