New Low from Emperor Farming Cheaters

I know that Emp farmers need every bit of help they can get, though it has been a great day killing the "former emp" cheaters. But around 8-8:30 EST a new group of Emp farming cheaters joined. And they have spies telling them exactly when and where forward camps appear and have people on the field telling exactly where stealth players are, and openly and obviously farming alts and working together (you have to sneak up with cover so spies do not tell).

It is now indisputably obvious that ZOS does not care. Lots of threads of "maybe...kinda...planning...future...excuse(n+1)" but not any actions at all. Who, other than cheaters, wants to play pvp with this going on.

Cannot name any names, but whoever is in EG (the main cheating guild in Volendrung) and their partner cheat guilds are the worst of the cheaters. **I have some info that not all of the members are cheaters, if that is the case you should join up with a guild against the cheaters.

I haven't played much PvP but sounds like I should now.
I could use a good Emp skill line to play with.
All I need to do is get in with these so called cheaters.
Any Guilds out there recruiting?

I doubt they are gonna let you take emp if you are joining just now. Emp farmers usually rotate within a tight group.

You may as well; just go to Volendrung and type "EG" in chat. All three alliances are in on it now.

Destiny opens in 13 days and since ZOS supports cheating ("inaction is a decision" after all) i will have to find a real game to play, i suppose.

There is no point playing against cheaters especially when they are supported by the developers. Trying to get support here seems to only advertise the cheating for the cheaters, people cheat because they cannot play fair (or at all from what i have seen) after all.

yeah - one AD emp farmer hates our group so much for stalling his emp farming buddies he specifically comes back to visit our campaign Celarus just to jump up and down on our group if we are stealthed to let his buddies in the other alliances that are in on the farming know exactly where we are

spineless cowards who amuse us by going to such lengths - that somebody would gain more fun by griefing than actually pvp'ing is sad, but a reality in every mmo

annoying as they are, try not to let them get to you - bottom line is they are scum - currently in this game scum rises to the top and is allowed to stay instead of being skimmed off and discarded - hopefully that changes

Guys I doubt there is or will be any fixes or changes to this. Just remember there are 3 factions in every campaign. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. work it out if you can. If not figure out a way to farm it yourself. I can tell you this. DC gave volendrung a hard time last camp with the zerg feast not sure if anyone left there is even going to care what happens to DC.

The main problem is the mega server and being able to have chars in all 3 factions in the same guild. Along with being able to actually send tells to opposing factions. They need to change some or all of this. Allowing direct communication with the enemy is going to doom this game.

I doubt there is any low an emp farming guild will sink to. These are the win at all costs players that will violate every spirit of competition they have for one half of one percent bonus to themselves.

Experience shows me that these guilds are not to be trusted and have the lowest of ethics.

i'm good with the enemy of my enemy being my friend philosophy - it always has and always should be a part of AvAvA - it keeps any one alliance from being top dog for too long

i'm NOT good with members of my own so-called alliance sabotaging my efforts to attack or defend a keep because that equation, instead of being A+AvA becomes A+A+emp farmers in your alliance vs. you

You will always get this when you can have mixed alliance guilds.

Solution?
The GM of the guild chooses the alliance that guilds wants to represent ( if your from DC but join a guild that represents EB, you will fight for EB in cyrodiil ).
When you first enter cyrodiil you should also have to choose a guild to represent, once chosen, all other guild chat in cyrodiil is locked out til you leave cyrodiil.

If you decide to leave a guild who represents EB and join a new guild who represents DC you would have to pay a lot of AP's and all points and alliance rank will reset to zero and emperor bonuses lost ( if gained ) if you'd like to represent that Guild. Yes that seems harsh but it's a must to stop these ppl who abuse the system.
One last change needed....drop the guest campaign!

The KISS answer to all this is to just disallow guesting and make it so that you can only join guilds within your own alliance. You already can't choose a campaign where you have a character in another alliance as a home.

Yet another ESO failure really, that anyone could have told them would happen. Allowing players to roll or talk to the other faction just allows easy routes for players to find out what the other side is doing, and totally kills any PVP "them vs us" faction pride.

Problem solved.

If only it were that simple. Once you join a guild, ALL of you alts no mater what faction or when you create them, are also in the guild as guilds are account based.

I know it is a bit harsh for this era of MMO's but maybe your alliance choice should be final and bound to your account. If your first character is AD, your account is AD and all following characters will be AD. The route they took with Vet Ranks allows you to see all the content if you wish to anyway. If you really want to spy, you can buy multiple accounts I suppose but this would greatly cut down on these issues. Combine that with removal of guesting and removal of former emperor bonuses and these players MIGHT actually have some faction pride and try to win campaigns instead of cheesing titles and passives.

The freedom ESO attempted to give in these regards was nice while it lasted but a portion of the player base almost immediately ran out and showed why we can't have nice things.

At this point, I'm more than willing to give up some freedom for the sake of competitive PvP where the only objectives are killing as many of the enemy as you can before you die and winning the campaign for your faction.

i don't care about winning, i just want to fight players. i want fun, fair fights, but neither will happen when fighting these people(save killing them, that's always good fun) here is what i think should be done.
1. remove BOTH emperor AND former emperor passives. That is the reason people farm them in the first place. They should only, in my opinion, be bragging rights, not something to make you a PvP god(in emperor passives case)
2. make your rank in the leaderboards be based on SKILL, NOT amount of AP you get. Having rank be based on AP only supports all the Emp farmers
3. perma ban/suspend any of these low lifes on sight or ASAP if not on sight. if they are not punished for their pathetic crap, they will continue to do it.
4. apply 3.to all of the guilds that do this as well

Just remove all the emperor fizzle then... it is that easy.. make it a title only instead... you are having X title as long as being emperor... and well still be carrying an ex emperor title forever after.

Also it is low that people do not want to PvP but rather farm for something useless or giving a slight upper hand.

PvP is about meeting the opponents on fair terms as well, so I have to say absolutely no respect to those of them people that decide to do stuff like this, it is really low and they are not even worth being called pvp'ers.

Not being allowed to have chars in different alliances would be enough. Want to change alliance? Then you have to delete your character. That would be fair. Not only spying can be the problem, but also some shallow players who would play only for the alliance that is winning atm.

Yep. Then you'll need to learn how to "farm your alt"...while playing your main on the same machine. It works super well, according the hand-wringing whingers in this forum.

I play on Volen with EG and I don't understand how we're being called the emp farmers. We came to that server because someone asked us to stop the emp farming. After both sides, in turn, tried to make alliances with us, we declined and messed up their whole system.

Yes, we occasionally crown an emp, that's what happens when you're winning. After we crown one we hold our emp as long as we can, with AD and EP ganging up on us to take it back. Just last night we defended until our last keep, it took them 7 hours to take emp back from us. That doesn't seem like very efficient emp farming to me, in fact that seems like exactly how you're supposed to play.

They don't always defend particularly well but we wish they would, gives us more AP gain and more fun!
