Buff/Debuff timers?

I am starting to use a few skills, including momentum (2H attack power continues to increase over 20 seconds) and don't notice any indicator or graphics on my character for when it runs out. Maybe I'm just missing it, but knowing this is important for the skill as I don't want to overwrite the buff just as it's starting to max out. Thanks anyone knows the answer. (P.S. I'm hoping there's something in game as I don't want to bother with add-ons unless absolutely necessary)

most effects have some kind of visible cue on your character or target, instead of a buff timer icon. Some of them are harder to notice than others and might not be as precise at timing when they end, depending on the animation. Only way I know of to get actual timers is through add-ons.

You are correct sir. I just checked and it does have a visible cue (handle of 2H sparkles, guess I didn't notice it with everything else going on, but now know what to look for). I actually think these visible cues are pretty good aspect of the game rather than non immersive timers.

There are no timers in game. For immersion purposes they have visual cues as mentioned above. If you did choose an addon the one I use is Foundry Tactical Combat.

Srendarr - Aura, Buff & Debuff Tracker

I find this one extremely useful, it shows all de/buffs and allows you to customise the scale of the icons. It also has a progression bar which makes it much easier to keep 100% up time on certain skills only using your peripheral vision.
