it is "working as intended", but what difference it makes? it is still useless.
really, fix the spell resist/armor system or change this passive.

see that i get hit by 308 with and without the 500 spell resisntace bonus, a simple test by the developers should have been enough to see its uselessness.

I would not be surprised if you are right. Only one possibility I can think of, and that is that the basic attack by that mob is considered a weapon attack, since he uses a destruction staff to hurl the fireball, and therefore would be affected by armour and not by spell resist.

However I think it is more likely you are correct.

EDIT : I need to make further testing, the passive seems to imply that the spell resistance is granted when a target is debuffed, but right now it rather works with self buffs like Blinding Flashes.

Actualy this video doesn't show anything, Illuminate works when targets (or your foes) are affected by Dawns Wrath powers.

In this video the fire caster is only affected once by the blind and he misses his first fireball and than follow his sequence with a flametrail that hits the templar when the caster isn't affected by the blind debuff anymore.

Also, Illuminate doesn't apply a buff to templar himself, but it rather increases the spell resist mitigation calculated when it hits the templar while the targets are affected by the debuff.
did you see my spell resistance? it was getting increased, but spell resistance it gave me was just cosmetic, making the passive useless.

Yeah I saw it, that's why I edited my post, i'm running a couple of tests, but you should try again with your combat log when the target is actualy affected by a Dawns Wrath power.

In the video the target was only affected once by the power and actualy misses you the only time it was affected by the debuff.

Sinds you have the combat log, can you run another test but this time with the target affected by a Dawns Wrath power?
