I like the mechanics of the vampire stages...but find it incredibly annoying for RP. I would prefer to have some options in the looks department as this is supported by both he lore AND the game itself.

The one and only thing keeping me from trying out vampire is the cosmetics.

If I could keep my character's appearance, which I worked hard on during the character creation, but still get the vampire abilities unlocked, I'd be ecstatic.

The blood drain and such would go so well with my bloodmage/shadowpriest setup as a nightblade caster.

My vamp's stage 4 looks like she went on a boxing match against Mike Tyson.
I normally see the back side of my character so it doesn't matter much, but when i check inventory or something, 'AH!... the face!'

I would like to see a few more options eventually added that players could customize for their vampires so that we are all a little different. I personally would like stage 1 to last at least an hour - actually preferably, 2hrs per level.

Additionally, I like how my stage 4 looks and if I had the option of remaining like that throughout the rest of the game I would. She looks awesome with stage 4 eyes in Primal Armour.

God forbid someone makes a suggestion about the game.

Pretty much this , some people really dont understand how forums work at all.

I wonder why they even bother coming here if all they have to say is how others should not suggest changes.

Silly Mornabaine, you know vamps can't use mirror because they don't have reflections in mirrors.

A stage 4 vampire should be terrifying. Mine stay there most of the time.

I don't like the idea of cute Vampires much, and like the present system.

Seems that in stage one at least you should have a normal appearance. The majority of vampires I've seen depicted look like regular humans.. it's how they blend with regulars lol

1 hour stage one would make me happy, other than that, I only wish the makeup that I chose in the character creator still applied to my vampire face either during all stages or just stage one.

I stay Stage 4 because Flame Resist Glyph. I certainly like the appearance of Stage 1 and I wouldn't like to appear Human/Mer/etc as a Vampire (TES lore Vampires). Things I'd like to see happen are that singe sound when you walk outside in the daylight that Skyrim has. When Zos does introduce a justice system it'd be nice if some NPC's are at the very least irritated by your presence, and make comments like how you look sick, etc. It'd be hard in an MMO to make it so NPC's no longer interact with you as a Vampire like in Skyrim.

Fangs would be awesome, personally I think that the duration system is not really working too nicely in an MMO.

I'd much rather see Vampiric abilities consume and burn blood that we need to replenish. Their potency increased the more blood is spend, but eventually leading to be unable to use the ability until one feeds again.

I like the mechanics of the current system so all I'm really interested in doing is expanding the options players have in the looks department. I'd like players to be able to leave the appearance of the various stages as is, but to also have some additional options affecting how their character looks.

While I'm on the boat that thinks that vampires should look like vampires...I'll concede that vampiric Khajiits and Argonians should look far more subtle.

Making them pure white doesn't entirely translate to sinister. But giving them more predatory features like lengthened fangs, would be nice. (Or I'm biased because I want my Khajiit Nightblade to keep his black pantha look as he stalks in the night. And not look like a snow-cat. :P)

Maybe a useless perk could be introduced.

"Concealment." From stages 1-3 (or 2), you are able to suppress your hideous features.

It's optional, pleasing...most people. Has a tactical slant for pvp if you want to fool others and dodge silver bullets - until you reveal your vampire powers that is...

We should have a cosmetic perk that hides stages 1 and 2. However, once you enter combat, this is removed and put on a 15 minute cooldown.

Personally, I would love the cosmetic nature of the look to be tied to the day/night cycle. I do think the stages should be longer as well. I mean the game uses 1:3 time. So 30 mins in game time is equal to 90 mins in "real day time".

A feeding should at least cover 4 hours (a complete daytime or nighttime event). That's still the equivalent of having to feed twice a day.

I picked Cosmetic, but I'd also like Stage One to last for an hour or more. I've been told that seeing a full-blown vampire in town breaks people's immersion, and I can understand that, so I try to remain as subtle about my vampirism as I can. Running off to feed every half-hour or so gets to be cumbersome. I like @Falmer 's idea about appearances being tied to the day/night cycle too.

Also, RPing is very difficult as a vampire because of our appearance. If we had an option or even a skill to somehow mask our appearance, it would open up a lot of RP opportunities.

I think vampire stages are backwards. I know it's lore but really it should be that when you have fed you are at your strongest and look normal and when you are hungry you should be weak...
