This is totally out of this thread's original idea, but anyways...

Years ago I used to play this pirate game called Voyage Century Online, and there we had cities like we have castles here. Those cities could only be sieged once per week ( I think ), and guilds could make a bid to siege any city during that week. I think the bidding system worked like that highest bidding guild got the right to the siege, and if they won, they would get the city. Then finally at friday ( I don't remember what day it was, but I think it was friday ) we had massive battles where guilds tried to get those cities from other guilds. Those cities gave good resources to their owners and were really sought after, so everybody really wanted them. Also with that system there was no possibility of night capping, because everybody knew when siege would start.

Here castles are just one more objective that gives x point per y minute, and are more or less farmed over and over. There's really no sense of accomplishment when you capture a keep. Week is probably too long time, but I'd like to see something similar like in that pirate game, that castles would really mean something. I don't know what you guys think, but I really liked that mechanic.

they took our keeps with a giant exploiter-zerg that was simply in godmode, we were at the last flag, i had 2 emperor banners up at the flag, we had 10 oilpots there, all were oiling and spamming negate magic bubbles all over the room to deny any magic from beeing casted there by enemies...still they just steamrolled in, everyone of the AD exploiter zerg just kept spamming their aoe spells like theres no negate magic bubble anywhere altough they all stood in them, and we all died. either its a server issue that it cant handle those big zerg groups spamming aoe spells, or its just some other exploit they are using to just keep spamming their spells inside an enemy negate magic bubble. so much for the great AD, haven't met any mentionable group there that can actually fight, just a few single players maybe.

PS: the "BOMBSQUAD" NEVER EVER used exploits, not even when the Vampire/Caltrops/Merc bugs were out. Keep whining, or REROLL AD

Seitan you must be kidding, we just rolled over your grp 2 time outside, and 1 time inside. We dont cheat EVER. and really...... was that the best you can do, then be happy you got all that play time, as you was never going to be emperor with skills only.

20 man grp did this to you.

i was in a grp with randoms, and we were about 15, but still we had a few sorcs and bubbled you and you kept casting your aoe spells inside the bubbles every single time. im just stating the facts, no need to be upset about it pals. a group like yours is easy to kill, you all just stand on top of each, easy to be caltropped and bubbled and killed by 1 single sorcerer. if you just dodge roll to the side if youre coming, nothing happens to you. there is no player with a brain in your group that could pull ppl inside or kill someone who dodges aside. still you are immune to negate magic and just spam your shields and aoes and this makes it kind of difficult to kill. i also think the damage you received in the last flag room could not be shielded away even with 3 barriers stacked, it was just too much, still your guys didn't die, and everyone just kept casting their aoe spells inside the bubbles. yeah sure, no exploit at all, we all totally believe you.

i guess you deserve your moment of proudness for killing me, even if you used some exploit to use spells inside enemy negate magic bubbles, so keep your screenshots coming!

There are simple counters to Negate Magic. Please, don't accuse others of cheating only because you don't understand a few game mechanics. It's just embarassing.

well noone in my pug group knows of it either apparently, maybe we're just too dumb. still, if im sure there is no counter to it of course i have to assume theres something fishy, don't take it personal, pal (but i guess you guys are infallible).

i guess i should start do some theorycrafting and think about recruiting some valuable ppl, we are just 2 guys beeing active in our clan, Mallory Knox and me, and even if we are rank 1 and 2 overall, its hard to beat a giant zerg warband if youre just 2 ppl.

and yeah, some ADs beeing ahead of me in knowledge of game mechanics...its really embarassing. you really got me there. i still dont know if there is a counter to it, i can just take you by your word.

Unstoppable protects you from Negate Magic , also you can CC break ( Bash movement ) to get out of Silence awell ( negation field )... And you can recast Unstoppable anytime in negation field since its Stamina based ( not counted as magic )

but unstoppable doesn't say it makes you immune to silence effects, only knockback and disabling effects...so is the tooltip actually wrong or are they infact exploiting another broken skill?

Unstoppable says it makes you immune to disabling effects which is exactly what silence is...a disabling effect.

If you don't believe it, then just check the Dual Wield Passive called Ruffian which gives increased damage to disabled targets (stunned/immobilized/disoriented/silenced)

. I remember Pryda and u callings "us" (AD) noobs, cuz we didnt stand a chance against you.... Well yea, because not a single one of us was willin to exploit any kind of ***

...Now when the most of exploits was wiped out, u r gettin stomped daily and u r crying about it.

And honestly, I have not seen u takin emperor during day/prime time for VERY long time. I m not saying that u r not great player, I m just saying that u r lil bit delusional.

That one actually hold's quite a bunch or truth. First because we now have something that kind of replaces a cross faction ingame Chat and second because not everything is black and white.

OT: I want to simply thank Seitan for stepping up as one of very few EP players giving us AD folks a decent challenge (and I don't care the least bit about, whether it is by using exploit, having a good game knowledge or simply by good gameplay).

And I also don't want to disregard you because you capture some keeps while others are offline, this is in my eyes and as the current game settings are a completely valid strategy to win the war in Cyrodiil. And also because I wouln't have be able to get two certain achievements without your continuous effort.

if it takes calling everyone an exploiter to get to know how the *** youre immune to the bubble i can live with beeing the grumpy kid! im using unstoppble in my main bar now too and switched out the whip btw, that night was kinda frustrating

I have to say the Aldmeri Dominion did a good job and deserve the win. It was really fun playing with all of you in this campaign!

wow! if you feel the way i do after typing that, no wonder you pvp 28 hours a day. anything to keep the brain numb i guess.

i would like to but i probably cant, i have to sort out some rl issues...i hurt someone i really like alot and its hard to cope with that
