thank you for posting the positive oil comments we now know who the bad apples are that think this type of exploit is fun. You CAN check their accounts for other hacks exploits and ban away.
you don't need skill or tactics at all to use oil pots just a childish glee in causing mischief.

You are either trolling or refuse to believe that this can be countered. Either way this thread is just going to turn into a joke now that you have chosen to just complexity ignore any and all feedback on how to beat oil.
You have some type of mental issues? its not about ways to beat oil as it was intended to be used its about the exploiting of it. so go back under your rock and ignore the obvious all you want.
and I will keep complexity ignoring you lol!

Show me on the doll where the oil pot touched you please.

The only thing that needs fixing in regard to oilpots is the ability to cook Bosmer in them.

Slot purge on your healers - problem solved.

    It...is really that simple.

However, please feel free to run in and get deep fried whenever you see my group around. The more deep friend AD/EP the better!

Its not that easy to set one up mid zerg train, if you stand near a pot of hot oil being tipped you're done. It is also a wonderful way to screw up the AoE train. Nice immersion imo keep it as is. If I could recommend one change it would be to place the alliance emblem on the oil pot so its easier to tell the difference during the siege.

Immersion? People are setting these up & tipping them in less time than it takes to Snipe. That is ridiculous & is only one of the issues with oil right now. It shouldn't allow you to set up on ground floor anywhere, period, much less outside on the grass. Pouring hot oil on your own feet is immersive?

Your feet would melt off. How would that not hurt? Plus its not quicker than snipe to set up and dump an oil pot. you might just be lagging out and it seems that way.

they are annoying, but its not an exploit.
    1. they lose health FAST. if you place one at the start of a siege(which alot of ppl do) they will be almost out of health when the enemies actually charge in, and will "be destroyed" before they can really be used
    2. purge!
    3. (I know I sound like a class A *** here) DO NOT run into a door when you see or hear oil near it. furthermore, DO NOT run into an area, when you CAN SEE its watched by 5 or more oil pots. if you do, you deserve to be oiled
    4. use siege weapons! me and alot of other peeps were on a bridge, when we got jumped by AD, and they hid in the small rooms at ground level, and set up oil. so I set up a ballista on the bridge, and flushed em out(got to watch an infamous exploiter, who I cant name die, which was awesome) if people are on top of the walls spamming oil, get some trebuchets and siege em, they cant use oil if they are getting hit by big flying boulders

It makes it interesting having to time and dodge oil spills while rolling into a safe corner and then having to RANGE the other set of oil pot users in the room.

You do get used to it and figure it out.
