Here are a few lowbrow recommendations for the continued future enjoyment of ESO. Enjoy! :)

Entertainment:
  • Drinking too many alcoholic beverages in a short time will now get your character drunk. If your character becomes drunk, you will receive the same visual and audio effects applied during the drinking contests at Bard's Retreat in The Rift. During this time, if you stand still for too long, your character will automatically be affected by the /drunk emote. If you try to /dance, your character will instead /dancedrunk. Continuing to drink after you are drunk will cause your character to vomit. Further drinking will cause your character to pass out.
  • While Drunk, you may awaken:
    1. At a random Wayshrine, no harm done
    2. At an Inn, with a hefty tab (you are a generous drunkard)
    3. In a Cage, with a quest you must agree to complete in order to be released
    4. In Prison, with a hefty fine (drunken disorderly conduct)
    5. Or in a bed with a "friendly" bandit of a random gender >:) who praises and rewards you for a "job" well done ... or attempts to kill you for your poor "performance".
  • Eating food will reduce your "drunk" state. Eating too many foods in a short time will make your character belch rather loudly. Continuing to eat after this time will cause your character to have fits of flatulence and vomiting.

Along with patches, fixes, etc. We have *got* to get some straight up FUN injected into this game :)

The "Awesomes" are great, but seriously guys?
No other ideas posted on how to make ESO more fun?
You guys are more creative than that. Throw some fun stuff out there. Straight up "enjoyment stuff". No fixes, just FUN!
What are the fun things you have found in the game that you would like to see more of?
What kind of things have you seen in other games that you would like to see in ESO?

P.S. "lowbrow" (but acceptable) humor gets ya bonus points! ... it is an M rated game after all.

Everything you said is merely roleplaying style. Which there is nothing wrong with that and could add to the amusement. Unfortunately most people still want this game to be like every other MMO out there where you log on, cap your token, get gear log off til the next week. I would like to see more sandbox modes. Areas or places where the players affect the world. One idea I had would be to have PVE affected by PVP. So you have these different PVP servers and you have all 3 factions fighting for 90 days. Well what if the Devs looked at who was winning across all the servers and then made that faction infiltrate the other factions PVE zones and give special quests for vanity or gear or whatever. So like say Aldmeri wins on 5 servers, EbonHeart wins on 3 servers and Daggerfall wins on 2 then the next week there would be Aldmeri troops in Ebonheart, and Daggerfalls PVE section. You would then take on raids to try and drive them out. Just an idea.

Add a feature for new players, beginners that need help with the learning curve or with levelling up, by introducing a PvE Tutorial beyond the opening ColdHarbor scenario.

Create or allow specialized <3Mentor or o:)Guide group(s) for this Tutorial which which co-exist with current content.

For example, a Mentor or Guide group could be added to a Market building in an opening area town, manned by an NPC. The Tutorial "vendor" would be staffed by volunteers who act as a Mentor or Guide to accompany and aide a new player group for a limited period of time.

More experienced players who enjoy cooperative play could sign up to be Mentors or Guides.

Keep the structure simple, similar to existing small four or eight person groups, with the experienced volunteer always tagged as the Tutorial PUG leader.

Where's the fun? New players get a helping hand, easing the learning curve, gain XP, loot, and knowledge. Mentors/Guides get XP and other bonuses for successfully helping the new player/new player group level up, beat a boss, increase a craft skill, other quantifiable accomplishment.

Result: A win-win for participants, new member and Mentors, while benefiting ZOS through improved new player experience and player retention.
