Ideas to solve the forward camp problems

SteveRuimy
After thinking about the problem with forward camp bugs that everyone has experienced before an idea came to my mind:

Why not having some "group forward camp" that are linked only to your party members? (Edit: When I mean group forward camp, I mean that they won't be linked to the area of the normal forward camp so you can place them without having the "Too close to friendly graveyard")

I'd love to hear your opinions about my idea / make some improvement to it / propose something completely different and even better than my idea / or just tell me if it's just a bad idea

Cheers.

heck no, THERE should be no limit on how many people can use a fwd camp, It should be good until its gets put on fire, other than that 20 people use is nothing more than an AP burn

True solution for the camp bug is for the devs to fix the freaking problem.
Texashighelf - VR16 Sorcerer EP NA - FILTHY BARBARIAN
Texasimperial - VR16 Dragonknight EP NA - How do you like your DK?
Texas'Imperial - VR16 Dragonknight DC NA - How do you like your DK?
Texas-Imperial - VR16 Templar DC NA - Queue Clogging Lagsploitter
Texas Highelf - VR16 Sorcerer DC NA - Queue Clogging Lagsploitter
Texas Imperial - VR16 Nightblade DC NA - Queue Clogging Lagsploitter
    It's a very grey area.

I'm not saying we should limit them. For sure forward camp are amazing. Maybe just implement a second type of forward camp to go around the problem we are facing most of the time with the random "too close to friendly graveyard" when you don't see anything in your radius

I understand you point yeah.. Maybe do you have any ideas of your own you could provide us to reinforce this post?

I only use AP to buy siege/repair kit to be honest, I'm waiting for better AP reward to use my points

I'm convinced that the issue with camp bug has something to do with phasing. Since you can relog and the camp is still there and usable.

The best alternate was not to mess with rez time which of course they did and now it takes so long to rez a player. Might have been better to fixed the camp bug then adjust the rez timers.

When our group is PvPing I find it best not to use a Forward camp until it is needed. Then ill place one close enough to the enemies so they see it. That way we get what we needed out of it (the group rezzed) and the enemy burns it right after. We can then place another one if needed later.

People should not try to hide them because all that's going to do is guarantee they dont get burned and bug out.

One hotfix that they can do right now is make them decay very fast once placed. Once placed it will last 1 minute before decaying. Reduce there cost to reflect the change.

That decay idea is nice! Btw thanks for pointing that out yeah a lot of people are hiding them and that's why it stays bug for ages and you can't place one when you really need it

if it's phasing: ZOS just needs to make camps into 'resource node' type item, which doesn't care about phasing and is seen by all until used up.
