If you are going to make a poll, you should suggest making it unbiased. A simple "yes" and "no" option would have sufficed. Giving further explanation merely encourages bias, as the "no" option is obviously an outrageous choice.

What if a person who would have voted "no" had a different explanation such as they'd rather ZOS focus their resources and funding on other quality-of-life features for the game? You give a list of very skewed answers leading to a self-perpetuated result.

Why would a person vote "no" on that basis if he or she was not outright opposed to dueling as a function in game?

I would like to see hand-to-hand added as a skill line and overworld PvP added to Veteran areas; but neither of those make me opposed to seeing dueling added as a feature.

Adding dueling does not preclude working on other aspects of the game.

Its really paramount to have a duel function so we can test skills and damage and see which rotations are most fluid etc. Id duel my bf every day.

One thing though.. are people even sure on what duelling is really about?

Duel is not a sparring session of any sort but.... a fight for honor, very very complex and honestly not sure if anyone really got what it take around here to duel it out.

Dueling would be great for this game, i know Zenimax knew that. We have this massive PVP already, so they can put dueling function with ease. I think the only thing holding off the dueling function is that they are still balancing the classes, but it might be better to put dueling now for balancing classes purposes either, right? And just an idea from me, dueling can be a great way to balance the economy, a way to recycle some golds. Here is what i had in mind, they can put dueling arenas for every major town (just like the bank), then 2 person who wants to duel should pay a small amount (most likely people will ignore this amount just to enjoy the feeling of having a 1v1 fight whether with friends or unfriendly players, & to look at the effectiveness of their builds in battle, etc). After paying for that amount they will enter an instance for the 2 of them only, maybe quite big enough to use bolt escape and other skills that may require distance. Of course there are many things to consider once 2 players are in duel instance:
1. How long can they stay there, what if they decided to just test skills and not kill each other?
2. How will they put the players in the instance, are they facing each other or in a random area in the instance that they cant see each other, coz NB may want to sneak while DK would want a face to face, mano-a-mano fight.
3. Healers wouldnt want to duel with NB for sure, but surely they want a 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 duels where they can be effective.

I hope that someday, after taking all consequences in consideration, Zenimax will put this function. I will play this function a lot, not to mention the whole bunch of things that we can do on other functions.
