Magma armor/corrosive armor bugging out in Cyrodiil

I have noticed several times that the 3% of max HP cap on incoming dmg, this Ultimate supposedly should give, does not Always happen. Looking at the Death recap on numerous occations I can clearly see that I was hit for the normal dmg several times, ultimately killing me. The Death recap only shows that the very final blow got capped at 3%.


Now seeing as with battle roar I get HP back by triggering the ability, how can one single 3% capped hit, in my case it caps at 85dmg with my HP pool, kill me?

Is this a known bug? Or am I missing something?

Anyone else getting suspicious Readings from this ability in PvP?

I will add a screenshot when I can acctually remember to take one.

    After the duration decrease I went and tested it in Craglorn to check if it still worked. The ult correctly capped all incoming at 3%, however, I think there might be an issue where it does not cap DoT effects correctly.

    The main reason I never use ultimate in Cyrodiil is that if the game thinks you're breaking combat, it often removes the ult effect, just like Nova often disappears when enemies move away from its AoE.

    With magma armor it's a problem if you for instance are fighting a single enemy. If this enemy break combat somehow, dark cloak or bolt escape, the game sometimes think you're no longer fighting and therefore the ult dissapears even though its duration has not elapsed.

    Ok here's a picture clearly showing its not Always working.

    As you can see the first to attacks on the list are capped, then in pops a Heavy attack not capped at all, and then two more capped attacks AFTER the Heavy...?

    I have more examples but it is not Always as easy to show when corrosive armor is up and running. In this Picture its easy to see though.

    I stopped using it Cyrodiil for the same reason, sometimes it worked other times it didn't. Patch after patch a plethora of bugged out stuff doesn't get fixed while the patches often introduce new bugs. It's getting old very fast.
