The number of campaigns is fine ( reason inside why)

ESO estimated sales is 1.5 million ( since we have no official proof this is based on a 1:4 ratio from physical copies sold)

Apparently each version of Cyrodill houses 2000 players at one time.

The problem isn't the amount of servers but that we are not spread out evenly so we all jumped into one campaign forcing queue times.

The solution, I have none but adding less campaigns would cause even more inflation in campaigns if that is the actual sub count.

If every single one of us tired to enter Cyrodill with the 2000 (666 players per faction). Player cap that would mean we should need 750 campaigns but since we all don't have the same schedule we don't, but we defiantly do not need less campaigns.

You're assuming that everyone wants to be in Cyrodiil, you can see the current populations as evidence that that isn't the case. Merging the campaigns means the people that want to go to Cyrodiil will actually get to fight people and you won't be able to stack one faction on a campaign and steamroll. They can open new campaigns if they need to, until then the current campaigns need to be merged.

This is the core of it right here.
Right now there only needs to be 2-3 campaigns. When those campaigns have capped out on a regular basis, it would then make sense to open more campaigns to deal with the overflow of players.

Spreading everyone thin from the start has simply resulted in a bunch of imbalanced campaigns.

from those 1.5 mill subs atleast 500k didnt sub after the free month. this is a pretty safe estimate actually and pretty normal for a modern mmo. more ppl will leave during the next 1-2 months. maybe in ~6 months the population will have balanced out at what its gonna be so yeah it kinda is too many campaigns. even now action isnt very good during off peak hours.

You could delete 8 of the servers during the week and 1 will not be full.

You could get away with 3 servers but that still creates the factions from splitting up. It seems that has changed though for the moment as everyone was bored of the Aussies all on AB server when the EB aussies were on Wabba.

Your rank may be 5785 but kill 2 people and it'll probably jump to 4389... that's how mine seems to be

What would have maybe been better is a dynamic system that maybe doesn't tie you to a home instance.

3 open at all times and then more that dynamically open as the 3 main servers become capped and more players want to join.

That ranking is not indicative of how many people are playing your campaign on a daily basis, that number includes anyone that has gained even one point of AP in Cyrodiil at anytime since the start of the campaign. 5785 people are not playing on Wabbajack every day, there probably aren't that many people playing on the top three servers combined on a daily basis. Four to five servers will be more than enough for the current pvp population considering that three only go above one bar for each faction, while the others don't.
