Hundreds if not thousands of nord clans make up the people of Skyrim. Many new, many dating back a few centuries, or others that can trace their line back till the time of Ysgramor. There are many that can be spoken of but today we are focusing on just one: Clan Stormblade. Boasting they can trace their line back to Atmora, Clan Stormblade are a proud people and a very old clan regardless if their claim is true or not. What is known about the clan is that they were quite active during the ancient times when the nordic peoples rose against their dragon overlords and were one of the clans that jumped at the opportunity to rid Skyrim of the flying tyrants.
Since that time, Clan Stormblade have become fierce Skyrim nationalists. They were not untouched during the recent Akaviri invasions however; Clan Stormblade was all too eager to offer their blades and their lives to fight for their Queen and Skyrim. The Clan sustained heavy losses during the war to which they never fully recovered, including their Patriarch and Thane Thorgrim Stormblade. They still remain an old and respected clan to this day despite lacking the large numbers and sprawling connections they once had. Currently the Clan is led by its newest patriarch and Thane, Throren Stormblade, son of the late Thorgrim.
With the recent formation of the Pact and the war brewing, once again Clan Stormblade will answer the call to arms, take up their blades and charge forth to fight the enemies of Skyrim. They fear neither pain, nor darkness, for Sovngarde awaits those who die with weapons in their hands, and courage in their hearts.
Clan Stormblade is a heavy nord clan themed roleplaying guild. We are small in numbers but aim to make a tight knit group. We plan to hold events from the mundane nord drinking contests, feasts, moots and IC dungeon delves to taking the fight to the enemy in Cyrodil with some RP-PVP events with a nice touch of nordic flair.
Since nord clans are usually based off or revolve around one main family or multiple related families, new members are allowed to add the clan into their character's backstory if they like, making them related in some way. This helps set a foundation for relations and charcater backstory etc. But it is in no way mandatory as I'm sure there would be many a reason why other nords (or non-nords if you can come up with a good explanation for why they want to join a nord clan) would want to be brought into the clan and most people would not want to alter a well thought out charcater backstory already.
So if you are seeking a group of Nords to raise your blade alongside, form a bond with or perhaps you are blood member of the Clan, already born into its hall; join Clan Stormblade to Victory or Sovngarde!
The clan has marched from its hall in the west to Eastmarch like many other clans from around Skyrim to celebrate the king as well as to offer their blades to King Jorunn and the pact. Since then, the clan moved south into the rift under Throren and are now occupying Geirmund's Hall.
The clan originally hails from farther west, the home of the Stormblade bloodline in Skyrim being Thunderhorn Hall. It's located on the lower slopes of the mountains on the border of The Pale and Whiterun Hold. The majority of the clan and it's head are now in Eastern Skyrim as they do what they can to protect Skyrim and bring death to her enemies.

Just like cicero28, i've tried my best to add on my friend list each one of you heads of the guild, with no luck until now. I also tried to whisper you all, but every account of yours was misteriously stolen by aliens and brought to Alpha Centauri. Is there a PC Megaserver on that star either?
Jokes apart, I was losing hope to gain entrance in the guild until now, can you add me in game? I'm @Anacarnil there

Throren✭✭✭Haha ya that would do it, I find a lot of folks run into that problem. heck a few even tried to join the guild thinking for some reason this was on xbox xD
