just hit vr1...and don't see any difference in difficulty. Strange.

Very strange indeed. In fact, it is so strange that I am wondering if you have been paying attention. I have found a significant difference between the level 50 mobs in Coldharbour and Cyrodiil and the VR1 mobs in the first VR zone. The VR1 mobs hit harder and take less damage. Battle a pack of two level 50 mobs in Cyrodiil, such as outside any cave. Then compare that experience to a fight with a pack of two VR1 mobs. You will notice a difference even though there should be none. There is no difference between level 50 and VR1 crafted gear; but the enemies of the two levels are anything but equal.
op again, sorry current build is
S&B with shielded assault/ransack(taunt)/burning embers/choking talons/Green dragon blood
two hand with . 2h Charge thing/flame breath/burning embers/ch talons/razor armor. (been having to switch razor armor for immovable or petrify lately to stay alive.)
armor is overcharged, health regen is over charged, all available passives in class, race, weapon lines. mix of stam and mag. enhants. also using ashen grip, and deathwind 3 pc bonuses.
just hit vr1...and don't see any difference in difficulty. Strange. NB bow, with poison arrow, knockback, stealth, veiled strike, and that base siphon skill. It's, kinda easy.
I suppose it could get harder and harder, but, it's that way for everyone. I figure more ad hoc groups will pop up now, which I kinda like. So tired of solo'ing.

Sadly a lot of players do not understand this and still run poorly designed builds in dungeons, instead of assisting the party to farm the dungeons smoothly, they become dead weight.
Try searching for good builds on the fansite forums, there are quite a number of good VR DPS builds both AoE and Single Target wise. I am primarily a tank too as well as a healer and DPS, you will have enough skill points to do all 3 roles, trust me. I even have 3 crafts and this is before i hit VR10. Just make sure you research and plan properly.
I know TESO allows freedom of mixing and matching your skills and choosing your builds but lets be honest and face the fact, NOT all builds are effective and there exist only a small number of cookie cutter OPTIMAL builds. Yea, you may do just fine with your own "custom-made, what you feel is cool" build but seriously no point in handicapping yourself and handicapping your party members by sticking to those inefficient builds.
I found the game enjoyably challenging until about halfway thru my vet 2 zone.
Now i am starting to questions things and I am dying ALOT.
I am not one to give up easy, i am respeccing and trying different strats etc.
But a couple things strike me as off.
First i am vet 2 and i have 0% crit. Only way to raise this that i am aware of is Medium armor. I use twohand and S&B so no passive skills for crit there.
Now i am not asking to be a crit machine. I am a tank. but seems like there should a base level crit. Most games do 5%.
Second correct me if im wrong. but there doesnt seem to be a way to raise weapon dmg. (or spell dmg) other than level up or a few armor peices might have +7 or so on them. Dumping points in Stamina doesnt seem to do it like i thought it did. So theres no way to gear up really.
In short i seems if your having a problem with the vet level your at there is nothing you can do but hope the next level is balanced better. I have all the passives available to me. I can change skills but if you put too many defense abilities on you bar then you are too gimped in dmg. You will run out of stam or mag. then die.
TLDR; i dont like that there is not much you can do to optimize your character at vet levels. cant up crit without armor change, can't increase weapon dmg. Can't really add too many def abilities because of limited bar space. Basically you just have to wait and hope the next vet level is better.
