The bolster system....

No really...it is a freaking joke...

Why put some half a** piece of garbage like this in? Do you want to see people leave?

I am on an alt who isn't vet ranked and is 40+....I just pumped all my resources into attacking someone while they literally stood there and laughed because they were VR rank 6....

It's sad because other MMOs (like one that will release at the end of the month) allow people to effectively jump into PvP and level via PvP as early as level 6.

What's better than PvP in your favorite MMO? PvP where you can actually PvP.
Something being unbalanced in 1v1 does not imply that it is balanced in group play.

They're making it so you can turn off the buff if you want, which would change your post-40 experience a lot I think. Around level 45 or so, you are most likely losing stats when you get buffed in Cyrodiil.

Yea man, I wanna be able to be equally as powerful as ppl that have dedicated 10x as much time into there character too.

Protip- Go level (like they did). Until then, stay grouped.

I Don't believe this is the case here. Yes they played more and leveled more than the others but there are casual players that do not skip content and do not play all day!

The thing is, I'd grouped with 3 of my friends, all around level 36, crafted gear with status overcharged and ***... we've gone to Cyrodill to know it and have some fun and one VET came and instantly killed me, then he almost 1-hit-1-kill everyone else. It was a 12 seconds fight for him.

I'm not saying he does not need to be powerful, but could we have an option to join a campaign with no veterans? only 10-49 level players?

DAOC made a low lvl RvR sort of experience. It was pretty epic when the game was still fresh but here is what would happen. You would still be whining because those same VR10s will have alts that are way over powered than you are because the would have more gold and time to get everything perfect on their "twinks." Casual gamers will never be able to compete with hardcore unless it is a PtP situation. PvP, RvR, you name it was never designed for the casual gamer. Wildstar looks to be trying but at the end of the day the hardcore that pay the most and contribute the most to the game will win out. Because if they spend all the hard time and effort to be the best they wont want some scrub who doesnt play ever to be able to hop on and be as good as them (gear wise). Best advice is to level and AvA when your a VR. If you want to AvA then do so but you wont be the best and need to stay in a group. Re-spec to have group attributes that benefit all.

None of my chars are above lvl 40, but I manage to have fun in Cyrodiil. Key is follow the zerg and rely on siege weapons.

Not an optimal solution, but an effective workaround till ZOS balances PvP or I reach vet rank. :p

I Don't believe gold would change much for a low level character. With simple crafted gear you can already overcharge one or two of your stats. And that does not need much effort.

Alt characters could be more skilled because of the player, but gear won't change much.

Sure if small scale match based PvP is your thing... if you are talking about open world PvP then a level 6 will get stomped by a level 50 in the game you are talking about... there is no scaling in open world PvP.

As far as ESO is concerned when 1.1.0 comes then we will have increased exp for player kills which could make leveling in Cyrodiil more enjoyable leveling through PvP. You can do quests and dungeons in Cyrodiil with friends and get exp already... while you PvP and people are at least given a chance unlike the game you aren't naming. Just most people don't do that in Cyrodiil. They are there to PvP and play the objectives.

I'm just so tired of timed battlegrounds PvP.... literally every MMO offers that except ESO. I don't know about you, but I have been doing that for years and it's just boring now. I leveled through SWTOR and Rift through nothing, but small scale battlegrounds . Tired of the same old same old of queue for a match... see if you are playing a pre-made.. in no pre-made proceed to win match and have fun... if against pre-made without my pre-made then lose match and repeat.

I like Cyrodiil because it's much more persistent and dynamic. Just like I liked RvR in Warhammer and even in Aion

This is great advice for all low level players. Get support skills.. Restro staff.. some heals and CC. Try to run with a group and support the higher levels. They will still appreciate the assistance.

There is that too, the hardcore gamer would be better skilled due to amount of time played verse someone that is casual.
