When you're out in the middle of nowhere, and you just happen to come across another player that isnt part of the zerg, stealth is fine.
Stealth is absolutely useless when anywhere near an enemy keep or resource, however - and that's what I want to see changed.
Today I figured I'd do some forward scouting on my nightblade and check out an enemy's resource points and keep before calling in the attackers from my faction. I quickly discovered that, despite having all of the stealth boosting passives from both medium armor and khajiit racials, enemy NPCs could see me from a league away. I literally had enemy NPC casters and honor guards spotting and charging/attacking me from well beyond bow range.
This is in the complete absence of any aoe damage or magelight that might reveal my character.
I honestly do not see why these NPCs have such long range stealth detection. I could see giving them the equivalent of magelight for balance purposes, but being able to target an enemy player from 60-80 meters like they're lit up by neon signs? You cant even see nameplates at that distance.
