I have a question for anyone that may know better than I when it comes to getting the resources in the mail.
Currently I have rank 3 (2 items a day) in both Clothing and Woodworking. I usually enter the game after 5:30 EST during the week. When I login I only ever seem to get one set of boxes.
Is it confirmed that you have to login to receive the mail? If so, do you think they should change it to get the mail regardless of being logged in?

✭You have to login and receive the mail, it resets the counter and 12hrs later a second mail will be sent, until you log in and receive it, the counter will not reset.

✭Oh and the email will not come if you are online when the counter expires. So if you log in, get mail, log out, log back in 11.5 hrs later and play for 3 hours, the email will not come, if you log out and back in, it will be there though, so it's really frustrating the way they have it set.--- HuntGod ---

Its just the rnd treating you bad. I got 2 golds from one hireling today and a few purples yesterday (and I don't have 8 alts collecting, just 2 crafters with a total of 5 hirelings).0 -
Shiaxi✭✭✭logged on before work this morning because I didn't get my hireling mails last night; got them today mostly normal stuff, with a couple of blue upgrade materials.. but my blacksmit hireling sent me 2 daedra hearts.. which is nice...0

Primal, Barbaric drop 2nd alliance, Daedric, Ancient Elf drop 3rd Alliance, everything else starting alliance.
2nd alliance is where I'm currently at. Good to know that there are phases (explains why I haven't found basic ones). I still seem to have really bad luck though...searching through every container on 2 new toons (33 + 17) has yielded 0 motifs and I haven't found any in the past few weeks on my VR4.
I suppose It's just really bad RNG.

✭How have I missed that gear this entire time...
Though I still think the 3/3 is limited compared to 2/3, if you can get the timer right, I login before going to work, then login and collect them and my 1/1 mules after work.
I have seen a 30% drop in the number of gold upgrades I am getting, but they are still coming in and I am primarily getting them from the mules, not from the 3/3 ones on my main.--- HuntGod ---

If I could fire my Hirelings for free, I would already since all they bring is white stuff since the last patch.

Um there is, just hard to find. If you mouse over the top tight hand corner of your post, then a pull down will show the word edit, click on it to edit your post.

You can also zone with a wayshrine while logged in and it counts as logging out and back in and will trigger mail arrival.

or, what works for me most of the time, open the mail screen; it appears to poll for new mail as soon as you open the screen.0
