I guess it's not the least balanced campaign in the world, but AD on Goldbrand is quite weak compared to other alliances. DC and EP seem to both have decently-sized groups of organized veteran players whos' intent seems to be crowning as many emperors as possible in their group before the campaign is over. A few small groups had that same idea on AD's side, but gave up. I'm assuming the reason why is I'm #1 on the leaderboard and it would be too much of a hassle to pass me. Since no organized groups looking for a few quick and easy emperorships on AD's side, all we have is a bunch of random players and a few small groups. Unfortunately unorganized pick up groups don't stand a chance against organized groups who really know what they are doing.
My clan doesn't play on Goldbrand anymore, and they dominate their home campaign, so it's pretty boring to play there unless the other alliances bring in massive groups all at once. Goldbrand, on the other hand, has great action, organized groups, and you very rarely see zergs on any side. It's really the perfect campaign for smaller guilds in my opinion. Generally the other alliances have anywhere between 10-30 vets depending on the time and day, and that's pretty much it.
The AD groups shrink considerably at the first sign of a hard fight, which only makes the problem worse. So basically, if you want a good fight but don't have an entire army, you'll find one here. We could use a few people who don't like things easy, because it certainly won't be.
