If you played Planetside you know what i mean: mobile spawn points (sunderers) add a new layer of strategy to the game and bring the battle in the open field.

    Wanted to edit and elaborate better but i cant...

    I am afraid there isnt enough interest in this subject at the moment, but this is a very important part of the gameplay that needs to be discussed.
    Forward camps, and the no deploy radius, are a great idea...just not fully implemented.
    The ability to set up a spawn point and the necessity to attack/defend it would add a completely new layer of strategy to the AvA gameplay and bring at least part of the zerg outside of the keeps and the oil pots farming.

    TL;DR forward camps hunting = MOAR FUN.

    The big no deploy radius makes me think the DEVs already had this in mind, but for some reason chosed to place a limit to the spawns.
    I fail to understand why, its not working, forward camps are useless atm; remove the limit and make them an important part of the gameplay.
    By all means, keep the no deploy radius.

    Dont be afraid to learn from PS2 and its mistakes.

    There really should be a 3rd option. I don't think they should be unlimited, but I think a much larger number of players should be able to respawn (thinking 75-100), OR they should be timer based - unlimited spawns for X minutes (3-5 minutes at most). They also really need to fix the bug where forward camps sometimes don't decay after their 20 spawns are used up, preventing any more camps from being dropped. This, in conjunction with making keeps generally more difficult to capture, would add a lot to the pvp meta.

    If they were unlimited that would force the defenders to hunt them down.
    That is one of the good things about mobile spawn points in this kind of game, it is a tool to force the defender to get out of his keep/base.
    If they were not unlimited the defender could just wait behind the walls for the timer to wear out.

    If a limit should be placed imho its on who is spawning: a group/guild only forward camp should be available too.

    If they lasted until destroyed, it might be a problem... you can place forward camps on top of towers at resources, so long as you hold the tower the enemy can't get at them . That would be ridiculous, no matter how many enemies you'd kill they'd be back like 2 seconds after you'd kill them.
    It would be much better if it were like wpitterlb14a_ESO said, unlimited spawn for 3-5 minutes.

    Of course and no more than one forward camp allowed on the attack of each keep.
    It doesnt need to become a hide and seek game, just the ability to set up a true, reliable forward camp.

    This is easy to fix: dont allow forward camps on the top of buildings.
    Setting a time limit will just encourage people to wait behind the walls rather than attacking the camp.
    An enemy camp close to your keep should be a real threat.

    Remove the respawn cap, make them last until destroyed, make them appear to everyone(read: enemies), after say, 5 minutes.

    as much as i want to say yes, realisticly i'd have to say no as this encourages the zerging, now if theres a group only forward camp and a global forward camp i'd be all for it being infinite till burned as atm, your group need to be warned nearly as soon as your about to place it as everyone will just swarm use it withought thought while you just doing back door jobs on resources (which btw are bugged and dont block respawns

    No that sounds pretty over powered.

    They'd have to dramatically increase the Alliance point cost.


    I would, however, like an option for group specific forward camps so that only people in my group could spawn at it. Other wise random people destroy them too early.
