Duel and Arenas

I dont know where to post this, but its a simple question...

is there anyway that ESO SUPPORT will make duel and arena available?

does anyone agree? what you guys think about that?

for me is a simple scripting task that will make a large difference in pvp.

Some people like it, some people don't. The main point is that ESO is a MMO that specifically offers RvR pvp. It's arguably its more fundamental characteristic. Therefore if anyone is interested in it he buys it, otherwise move on to one of the dozens of MMOs that offer arenas and instanced pvp. Developers may decide to include new modes, but that's up to them if they feel like it. People that come to this game and feel entitled to dictate what this game should be like have it wrong. There is no point in trying to change a piece of entertainment to suit your own needs when there are already plenty of them that offer what you are looking for. I don't buy a grill and pretend it to be turned into a microwave. If you buy TESO you know what kind of game it is and you hopefully buy it exactly for that reason. That said, it depends on what the developers think about arenas and small scale pvp. Perhaps they may consider including it if enough people support it. Perhaps not.

Why limit the game to just 1 type of battleground, RvR when you can have other options?

Having no dueling in an MMO is kinda like not having a chat box, friends list, guild functionality, or mail system.

Its just one of those non-negotiable features that needs to be in the game and the lack of one in ESO is a glaring deficiency.

I don't mind duels as long as there is an auto-decline. I don't think arenas are a very good idea because they cause massive balance problems. Even the developers of wow said that they think adding arenas was a mistake. With that being said, the developers of eso stated in the last ama that they have no plans to add either to the game.

Wow is selling level 90s are their developers really that credible.


Also arenas saved Swtor so shut your Argonian mouth

I'm a Breton and there is no need to be rude. If I were an Argonian I would erect the spine of disapproval. Of course if I were an Argonian I wouldn't be insulted.

there's always the opportunity (albeit in quieter campaigns) to put your own event together in the absence of there being an official one

this is a map for one event we are helping to put together - feel free to use it to put together your own events - there are TONS of fun places to hold them

the answer is no. This has been asked a billion times. Type in the search engine on the forum the word Arena or Duel and you will find TONS.
