After patch game will not start at all

Hello

So I have had this problem before and it was solved by running a repair. I have run the repair this time and nothing has changed. So I ran the repair again and still nothing. So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it is still not starting. The launcher shows up and shows the play button it greys out when you click it, but then just goes blue again. There are no error codes showing up.

I am not to happy this cost a lot of money and I still have to pay for a subscription and I cant even play the game....

A prompt response would be a smart move.

Greetings @Barnsieboy‌ ,

Please go to My Documents/The Elder Scrolls Online/Live and look for the UserSettings.txt file. Then perform the following steps:

• Open UserSettings.txt with Notepad
• Press Ctrl + F and search for RequestedNumThreads
• This brings you to the line SET RequestedNumThreads "X" (with a number instead of X)
• Change that number to 0 (zero, not the letter O)
• Save and close the document
• Restart the launcher and try to launch the game

also , although that shouldnt affect the launcher, make sure your addons are up to date or removed.
particularly if the game crashes on load
